What a time we had in Historic Ellicott City!

St. Luke A.M.E. Church was proud to host our first Historic District Partners Community Meeting, bringing together community and business partners to connect, collaborate, and share what’s happening throughout Historic Ellicott City.

We were also excited to introduce our newly appointed pastor, Rev. Domitria Vieira, to the Historic District community. This gathering was about more than a meeting—it was about building relationships, creating partnerships, sharing ideas, and moving our community forward together.

St. Luke AME Church - Ellicott City is excited to be at the table, engaged in the community, and looking toward a thriving future for Historic Ellicott City!

Ellicott City!

We are super excited to announce that St. Luke is adopting a classroom for the entire school year to help support the students and teacher with needed supplies.

This Sunday, we will also be giving away backpacks stuffed with school supplies while supplies last!

Join us at 11:00 AM as we worship together and offer a special prayer over our children, youth, educators, and families as they head back to school.

Come worship, bring the kids, and join the movement! 🙏🏽🎒

HISTORY WAS MADE AT ST. LUKE AME CHURCH !

For the first time in St. Luke AME Church’s, 165 year history, baptisms were performed by water submersion. Pastor Domitria Vieira had the sacred honor of baptizing four souls, two children and two adults.

What a historic moment and a beautiful testimony of what God is doing at St. Luke! This is only the beginning. There are many more to come!

Special thanks to First Gentleman Tony Vieira, Tony Jr., Stewardesses Kelly Bowie and Trina Harding.

Thank you Kimberly Hollingsworth, Millissa Lee, Brittany Lashay, and everyone who served, prayed, captured these precious moments through pictures and video, and helped make this historic day possible.

We witnessed history. We witnessed God at work.

If the enemy can change how you think about who you are, whose you are, and your worth, he will try to change your decisions, direction, and destiny.

But the devil is a liar!
Here are your 3 points.

Point 1: Recognize the Matrix.
Point 2: Pull Down the Strongholds.
Point 3: Walk in Kingdom Victory.

Renew your mind. Put on the whole armor of God. Stand firm on His Word and walk in victory.

What a beautiful move of God at St. Luke AME Church - Ellicott City today!

Pastor Domitria Vieira had the honor and blessing of baptizing four precious souls as they publicly took this powerful step of faith.

Heaven rejoices, and so does the St. Luke Faith Walkers.

May this be the beginning of a deeper walk with Christ, a stronger faith, and a life continually led by the Holy Spirit.
