We are excited to introduce our tenor soloist for the Messiah Sing.
James Knudson was born and raised in the Washington D.C. suburb of McLean Virginia. He and his wife Cynthia have lived in Howard County Maryland since the mid 1980’s where they raised their 5 children. Mr. Knudson is an electronics engineer by profession and pursues music, especially choral music, as an avocation. He has participated as a singer and director in school, community, and church choirs throughout his life. His choral experiences have given him the opportunity to sing in concert halls locally, throughout the Western United States, and in Germany, Poland Czechoslovakia, Denmark, and Israel. He currently is a member of Columbia Pro Cantare.
Mr. Knudson loves “Messiah” and has been involved in the Messiah Sing presented by the Columbia Maryland Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 30 years as a participant, choir member, choir director, soloist, and committee chairman.
