“Then he said to his servant, “Go and look out toward the sea.” The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, “I didn’t see anything.” Seven times Elijah told him to go and look.”

Persistence In prayer

A lot of Christians give up after uttering a few prayers about a situation and through that they miss out on their breakthrough or the answer to that prayer. In today’s passage, prophet Elijah went to mount Carmel, bowed down in prayer. Each time he would ask his servant to go and check out the horizon for the sign of rain, and each time the servant comes back with a negative report. But the prophet did not give up because he knows whom he believes and serves. Then on the 7th time, it was a different report! Imagine if he gave up on the first or second etc attempts, like most of us do?
I have come to encourage us today to judge our God faithful so that we can operate in that unshakable faith that He who has promised is faithful and able to do that which He has promised.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the example of Prophet Elijah in Your word. Help me to stay in that place of prayer, knowing and trusting that You are faithful and never late. I give You praise and glory in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Good morning beloved:

The Power of God’s Word

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””
‭‭Joshua‬ ‭1‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬
https://bible.com/bible/114/jos.1.8-9.NKJV

Blessed child of God Almighty, do you know and more importantly believe that the infallible word of God is more than enough? That it stands by itself powerfully such that our mighty and loving God honors it above His own name. Don’t forget that there is no other name than the name of Jesus by which man was redeemed; that powerful name. Why is this important?
Because we must be persuaded that praying God’s word is enough for every situation in our lives, the enemy has nothing to offer us but deception. The Bible says he is like a roaring lion; every time he shows up in whatever contrary circumstance we confront that fills us with dread, just remember that it is a farce. God has already given us the victory. The entrance of the word of God brings light so we can see the deceiver clearly for who he is.
Apply the word to every situation in your life. Ask God guide you and to open your eyes and ears to His word. Select a couple of applicable verses and pray them. That is reminding our faithful Father of His promises or precepts. It is speaking His language. Remember, He stands by His word and actually watches over it to make sure it is accomplishing that which it was sent to do. He even asked us, His children to put Him in remembrance of His word. What an assurance.
The above requires that you and I study and meditate on the word. If this is new for you, ask the Holy Spirit of God to help you and give you a strategy to fit the reading and meditating on His word into your daily routine. The knowledge of the word of God is so crucial to the life of a child of God. It is our roadmap for life itself. Do not forsake this most powerful weapon, nothing else is needed for it to work perfectly every time.

Good morning beloved:

Living a Surrendered and Victorious Life

We all want to live victoriously and without any issue in life. But that has not been the reality of most people. So what are we missing, why can’t we have that especially since this was promised in His word! Does this mean that God’s word is not true or misleading or did He change His mind? Not at all. The Bible tells us that God’s word is infallible and God Himself is not a man that He should lie, neither is He the son of man that He should repent of anything that He promised. So when God promised a victorious life, He meant we live victoriously.
What then? Glad you ask!
Where and how is your heart, is your heart right before God? Can you truly say that your ways please your Maker? We are called to repentance so that like the psalmist, we can boldly ask God to search our hearts for purity. The Bible tells us that our God is holy and that’s what He expects of us as His children.
Are you living in full obedience to the word of God, He is very clear. His word is the roadmap for our lives and we are to be fully obedient. According to the Bible, obedience is better than sacrifice.
We must have faith to please God. It is through faith that Abraham was able to believe God even when the physical evidence pointed otherwise. And it was counted unto him as righteousness
Faith is the absence of unbelief in the word of God, it is saying I believe in the word of God. The same word that created the heavens and the earth; and all that is within them including you and l. When we believe in God, the same power and wisdom of God begin to operate in our lives to bring about change and empower us to do those things that we consider impossible, translating to a victorious life. We receive grace to live a holy life, a life completely surrendered and yielded fully to our Father in heaven. Attaining perfection is basically living in total obedience to the word of our Almighty God, His promptings immaterial of how those around us may perceive the actions. We must seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness so that all other things can be added unto us.

Prayer:
Thank You heavenly Lord for Your wisdom, strength and power, to live our lives in total surrender, in humility and pleasing unto You always. We receive the grace to live victoriously all the days of our lives in Jesus mighty name. Amen.

Good day beloved, it is well with you. The goodness and mercy of the Lord are sure for they follow after you all the days of your life!

Let us worship God Almighty in the beauty of His Holiness

Worship God for putting His breathe in your nostrils overnight so that you and I can wake up this morning in the land of the living.
Worship Him for the glorious dawn with its beautiful sun slowly peering through and the golden moon going to its next stop.
Listen to the sound of the birds as they welcome the dawn and worship the Creator who alone put His songs in their mouth.
Watch the flowers open ever so slowly and let the sound of worship break through your lips, to Him who alone is worthy of such praise.

Close your eyes and hear His quiet whisper of love to you, the love so overwhelming on His part, that even when you were yet a sinner He gave it all. His Precious but only Son for you and I, wretched sinners that we are so that we will not get what we deserve but have claim to eternal life.

Your worship of God is not dependent on your circumstances. Happy? Worship Him anyway. Frazzled and upset? worship Him anyway. Fearful and anxious? Worship Him all the same!

As you worship Him today if you don't know Him personally, if you don't have a one-on-one relationship with our Almighty God; all He needs of you is for you to confess and repent of your sins, confess that Jesus is Lord. Do this sincerely and you will enter into your rest in Him. God loves us so much, He wants none to perish.
Don't delay, reach out to Him while He may be found and receive His gift that cost Him everything and you, nothing. Worship Him in the beauty of His holiness. Glory, hallelujah!

The Peace Offering!

Jesus was made the Peace Offering by His Father, our God in order to destroy the grip of our sins and their consequences. The Lord is the same yesterday today and forever, He never changes, He is always faithful. Hallelujah!
On the other end, we are the ones who changed and broke the original fellowship between man and God. And as a result, we have all fallen short of the glory bestowed on us by our loving God. But our Father is a strategic one and has made provision for our restoration. It necessitates that you and I surrender our all to His Will and purpose for our lives. We don’t get to go on our own little tangents. We must yield completely every area of our lives to Him who alone is our peace and is the only One who can us give us that which we desperately seek after; the peace that passes all understanding and through this heal the emptiness that so passionately wants to consume us. Are you ready? It is not a jolly ride but very well worth it! Can you start right where you are, so that the sacrifice of Jesus that we commemorated just a few weeks ago will be in vain? Call unto God, let Him know you are His now and forever. Heaven is celebrating over you, hallelujah!

Good morning beloved!

Seek the Lord with all your heart

What does this entail and why?
The scripture is replete with calls for us to diligently seek the face (Presence ) of our loving God. You might ask- but God is omnipresent so why do I need to seek Him if He is always present with me? Good question. Yes, according to God’s covenant promises, He is with you and I always, to the end of the age (Matt 28:20). Don’t forget that God, being the loving Father that He is created us with free will resulting in us having the choice to be or not be in His Presence.
So there is some intentionality involved when we set our hearts and minds to seek this wonderful and giving God. (1 Chronicles 22:19); Colossians 3:1-2). Though God is omnipresent, we still need to consciously seek Him, drawing closer to Him so He can then grace our lives with a greater revelation of Himself. We were created for fellowship with the God of the universe, that’s why it seems like everyone has a void that they are looking to fill with all types of stuff.; drugs, incessant accolades, illicit s*x, etc. Why don’t you seek Him who alone holds the key to truly fill that void! Seek Him while He might yet be found and His loving kindness will fill every emptiness in your life.

Prayer:
Lord, there are times when I have completely ignored Your Presence in my life and chased after other things; the works of Your hands, resulting in that feeling of being separated from You. I repent and ask that You please empower me to seek You more diligently, so my life will be enriched with and by Your Presence. Draw me closer to you or Lord, I yield my will and life to You in Jesus mighty name. Thank You for always being such a loving Father, I worship and praise Your holy name. Amen.

NOTE:
If you have never asked Jesus to come into your life, today is the day.
1. Repent (meaning turn from sin and turn towards God).
2. Ask Jesus to be the Lord if your life by confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of your life.
4. Connect with a Bible teaching church so you can develop in your knowledge of God and have a closer walk with Him.
5. Share the good news.

Shalom!

Full Obedience

Most Christians have forgotten the essence of keeping God’s word in our hearts and full obedience to His commandments. Several passages remind us of this very essential part of life and our walk with the Lord. Proverbs 3:1 is such a passage. This is one of those passages where Gods has a cause and effect kind of stuff set up. In this, your knowledge and obedience to His word lead to a long, satisfying and peaceful life. What a bargain!
Also, Psalms‬ ‭128:1-6‬ ‭speak succinctly to the same issue.
“Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you.” “Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants All around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed Who fears the Lord. The Lord bless you out of Zion, And may you see the good of Jerusalem All the days of your life. Yes, may you see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!”

This is my prayer for you as you purpose to and walk in full obedience before the Most High God. The benefits of full obedience touch every aspect of our lives.

Prayer
Ask God for grace to be fully obedient to Him for according to the scriptures; to obey is better than sacrifice and rebellion (aka disobedience) is as the sin of witchcraft
(I Samuel 15: 23).
He is able to do more than what we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). His grace is available and more than sufficient for you and I.

Shalom,

Good morning beloved,

David was a lad who truly believed in God, he apparently had a close relationship with Him and believed in God’s faithfulness. This governed every aspect of his life including his interactions with a king who obviously now wants him dead, out of jealousy. He is also a very humble man who did not count himself worthy to be the son-in-law of the king.
Because of these, the Lord was clearly with him, protecting him despite the many battles he led on behalf of the king of Israel. The Bible says he had great success and the people loved him so. But, and this is a big but! The king who should be thankful for having such a person in his service was the exact opposite. Rather, he wanted him dead, out of jealousy because of a song that recognized David’s accomplishments.
What is it that should be celebrated in your life that the enemy decided instead to attack you because of it? Do you trust God wholeheartedly like David did, knowing that your times are in His mighty hand. Only He can raise help for you like He did for David in the person of king Saul’s own son Jonathan. Do you know this God personally and intimately like David did? Are you walking faithfully and humbly before Him? Such that, even in the midst of adversities and threats to your person, God is your number one defender, your protector, the mighty man in battle. Thank you O God of heaven.

Prayer:
Almighty God I come before You this early morning and I cry, search my heart and motive, see if there be any iniquity in me. Cleanse me O Lord, make me a vessel of honor, fit for my Master’s use. Empty me of myself, let me be a carrier of Your Presence and glory. Be with me as You were with David, guide me and guard me in all my ways. All these I pray in Jesus mighty name, with faith and thanksgiving. Amen.

We are more than conquerors through our merciful God.

What do you see in your future? Giants or challenges that can be conquered? Don’t forget the Bible says, “Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.” (Romans 8:37, NKJV) Do you really believe they saw giants? I don’t think so. To a grasshopper, everything looks like a giant. They saw themselves as weak and small.

It’s your time to see yourself as a David, a giant slayer, a conqueror, and someone who crosses over because you are a miracle.

You are a miracle!
