This Shabbat we are doing something a little different! We've heard requests for opportunities to be together in a more relaxed, social setting. Tomorrow (Friday) for Erev Shabbat, we welcome you to bring a dish to share and candlesticks & Shabbat candles for Friday Night Lights. If you don't have any - no worries! Please still join as there are a few extra sets at Temple.

We will kindle our Shabbat lights together at 6:30pm and enjoy a potluck Shabbat dinner along with a guided discussion about the lights of Shabbat.

Saturday morning, we will continue our observance of Shabbat with Torah study at 10:30am. No prior reading or experience necessary. We will choose a section of the parsha to read together and then discuss.

TEMPLE MEMBERS & FRIENDS-

This weekend is a big one for Temple Sholom, and we hope you can all be there. We have our Friday service beginning at the regular time, followed by an ice cream social. Things get going at 6:30 p.m. We will be observing Shavuot & celebrating with traditional dairy treats (and non--dairy for those of us who cannot eat dairy).

Saturday the message is simple: WE NEED A MINYAN! We’re having a Torah service, a very special event for our community. Please make sure you’re at the temple by 10:30 a.m. Saturday so you can help us make the numbers we need for the service. It’s sure to be a beautiful day, and you don’t want to miss it. We’ll celebrate with a nosh afterwards.

Please plan to be with us this weekend. Whether it has been two months or two years, we need you. Please plan to attend either or both services. WE NEED A MINYAN!

We have Kabbalat Shabbat on Friday & have changed our plans for Saturday. We were going to have a Torah service, but we have had to make a change. We will have Lunch & Learn at 1pm instead of a Torah service. Please join us & bring something to share for lunch. We will have a Torah service in May.

Community Passover Seder-Thursday, April 2nd 6:00pm - RSVPs are required by Sunday, March 29th. ​

​​Be sure to select a side dish to make and bring. All food must be pareve or dairy (no meat!) and may not contain chametz.

*Cost is on a freewill donation basis made either ahead of time or at the seder.

The main course (baked salmon) and matzo ball soup will be provided.

We will be meeting on Friday night (6:30pm) for Kabbalat Shabbat with an Oneg following services & Saturday morning (10:30am) we will be having a Tu Bishvat Seder.

We do need several traditional food items for our Seder on Saturday. Leigh has put together a survey where we can sign up for specific food items. We hope you will help us with those traditional foods.
