Day 4 (final day!) of Enough for All VBS. We told the story by “becoming the Garden.” Then, we explored the grains of God’s Garden. We were scientists again as we learned about different grains, we played games with grains, and we made communion bread for each congregation. We were joined for the day by Bishop Martin! What a great way to end our week together.

Day 3 of Enough for All VBS. Today’s focus was the seeds and nuts of God’s Great Garden. We did some more planting, we made porch pots for each congregation, we made seed bombs to plant flowers at home, we made musical instruments with seeds (rain sticks and ocean drums), we learned about the life cycle of trees through a story and yoga, and we made bird feeders to share with the birds! Snack was build-your-own trail mix. One more day to go exploring this incredible world God made!

Day 2 of Enough For All VBS. Today we learned about vegetables! We cut up vegetables and made veggie pizza, we painted pots to do some planting, we put together 3 lasagna gardens where we will plant vegetables, and learned about how food goes from the field to the table. We also put together veggie trays for The Community Table, Eau Claire!

Day 1 of VBS: Enough for All, the Abundance of God’s Great Garden! Today we explored the fruits of God’s creation. We dissected fruit, painted with fruit, taste-tested jams and tried to guess the fruit, played fruit BINGO, and made rainbow fruit kabobs for snack. We also made fruit salad to donate to tomorrow’s dinner at The Community Table, Eau Claire!
