Students: You are invited to join us for our first gathering of the year at 6:30pm Wednesday night on Adams Field across from Landon Hall (on the west side of Music Building). We will have food, flabocce (what’s that? come find out), fellowship and friends to meet! Join us and invite others! Churches if you have students here, please let us know so we can reach out and let them know to find us!

It was a full afternoon at Sparticipation! We are looking forward to all God has in store for the year ahead! Keep students, faculty, staff and administrators in your prayers as classes begin this week and prayers for students who are not starting this new semester by choice or circumstance as they take time to rest and recover.

In life and in death we belong to God. As the country mourns the death of Dolly Parton we highlight a way UKirk is connected to her remarkable legacy of giving. Each year the Princeton Presbyterians hold a book drive for our UKirk Book Project as part of their Holly Dolly Christmas Party. These books are then distributed through our local food bank partnerships and at other community events. Thank you Dolly, thank you Princeton Presbyterians!

Glad that our UKirk was represented among UN interns this summer!

UKIrk was represented at the Hope in One golf outing today supporting Advent House Ministries and North Westminster Presbyterian Church. We finished 5 under par with no mulligans and no free strokes for age. Among the highlights included the only eagle of the day on hole #5! There were teams from several of our partner churches including Eastminster Presbyterian Church East Lansing, Lansing First Presbyterian, and The Presbyterian Church of Okemos.

Continuing to look back as we anxiously prepare for what’s ahead, here some of our UKirkers engage in a workshop on immigration during the Jesus and Justice Young Adult Advocacy Conference last fall. If you know of students who will be in East Lansing at MSU or attending LCC this fall, please let us know so that we may reach out!
