UKirk at Michigan State is the campus ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in East Lansing.

It may be fall break when most students have left town for a few days, but these fearless UKirk reps (including our own Ricky Bobby) distributed UKirk book project books at an Okemos trunk or treat yesterday. We are confident that “…8-pound, 6-ounce, newborn infant Jesus…” would approve.

Focused intensity or trying not to laugh? A little Up Jenkins play before diving into and writing our “own” Psalm 23 last night at UKirk! We are continuing to make new connections and having new friends join us along the way. Last night’s dinner was Crock Pot BBQ Chicken! If you’d like to provide a meal before fall semester is over, please let us know. Open dates for dinner signup include Oct 14, Oct 28, Nov 4, Nov 11 and Nov 18.

Representatives of UKirk led worship at The Presbyterian Church of Okemos Sunday morning. We are grateful to PCO and all of the partner churches that support our ongoing ministry and mission.

UKirkers are distributing 📚 this morning for UKirk Book Project at Potter Park Zoo during Community Mental Health Authority of Clinton, Eaton, and Ingham Counties event! We rolled over 11,000 books distributed in the life of this ongoing project today!

UKirk represented well at the (second) annual United Nations International Peace Day celebration on campus Thursday afternoon. The event included interfaith dialogue, a peace walk and a time for sharing ways we engage with the UN Sustainable goals. Our students talked about UKirk book project during community partner time.
