This weekend we will gather together for our Stake Conference with Elder Joni Koch, a General Authority Seventy. This is an opportunity to be together, to worship together, and to feel the love of the Savior.

President Matthew Pierce, from the Lansing Michigan Stake Presidency, share a personal invitation for you to attend, with a reminder that as we hear the words of Jesus, that they can bring us peace and rest.

We have several sessions: Saturday, Sept. 12, Adult Session at 6PM, Sunday, Sept. 13, Youth Devotional at 8AM, and our Sept. 13, General Sunday Session at 10AM.

We encourage all to attend in person, but for those who can't, we will have have Zoom links for the Saturday, Adult General Session, and the Sunday, General Session.

Cody and Raquel Shepard of the Williamston Ward lost their 12 yr old son, Calvin, when he was struck by a car this weekend. Their 13 yr old daughter, Karalee, was also struck by the car and is in critical condition in the hospital. Your prayers and fasting on their behalf is also greatly appreciated.

We look forward to worshipping together, strengthening our faith in Jesus Christ, and feeling the peace and direction that come as we gather as His disciples. We hope you will make plans to join us for this special weekend.

The new lesson schedule starts next week!

Starting next week the Sunday lesson schedule will include a one hour sacrament meeting, followed by a 25 minute Sunday school lesson, followed by a 25 minute Relief Society or priesthood lesson. The youth will follow a similar schedule with their respective classes. Primary children will keep their same lesson schedule.

Volunteers needed for our annual clothing distribution event this fall!

Help our community get ready for winter 🥶

We will need help:

Sorting clothes by size prior to the event
Restocking during the event
Translators and interpreters during the event
Greeters and shoppers during the event
Packing up and cleaning afterward

We’ve been celebrating a lot of missionaries leaving for their service. Today we are rejoicing with the return of one!

Congratulations to Elder Nathan Pierce on the completion of his service in the Philippines Cabanatuan Mission. He has served faithfully and with dedication for the last two years.

He has gained a great love of the Filipino people and the Tagalog language. We’ve witnessed the growth of his testimony and love of the Savior, Jesus Christ.

He’ll be leaving for college soon to Brigham Young University Provo where he’ll begin his studies. We wish him the best and are grateful for his example.
