Join us this Sunday, May 31, 2026 at 10:00 AM for Morning Worship as we continue our series:

“Becoming Blessable: Going Back to Go Forward”

Together we will explore one of the most challenging and freeing truths of the Christian life:
“You cannot move forward spiritually if you refuse to deal with your past.”

Through the life of Joseph and Genesis 50:20, we will discover:
• The Patterns We Inherit
• The Pain We Ignore
• The Power God Restores

No matter what you’ve been through, God can redeem what was meant for harm and bring healing, freedom, and restoration.

Genesis 50:20
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good…”

Come worship, grow, and experience hope with us this Sunday!

🧊 Becoming Blessable: Hidden Unhealthiness
📖 Matthew 23:25–28

So much of life happens beneath the surface.

Like an iceberg, what people see on the outside is often only a small part of what is really going on inside. Jesus teaches that God cares deeply about the condition of our hearts—not just our outward appearance.

This Sunday we will explore:
• The Symptoms of Emotional Unhealthiness
• The Source of Emotional Unhealthiness
• The Solution Jesus Offers

We’ll talk about:
✔ Ignoring emotions
✔ Avoiding vulnerability
✔ Living at an unsustainable pace
✔ Healing from hidden wounds
✔ Finding rest, renewal, and transformation in Christ

Psalm 23:3 says:
“He refreshes my soul.”

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, disconnected, or spiritually dry, this message is for you.

Join us this Sunday, May 17th, as we discover how Jesus not only forgives sin—but restores souls.

Resurrection Sunday is coming—April 5, 2026—and you’re invited to join us for a powerful time of worship at De Soto Community Church of God.

The Cross: Why It Matters
📖 1 Peter 3:18
🕙 10:00 AM

“For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.”

The cross is more than a symbol—it is the answer to our greatest problem. Scripture tells us that sin separates us from God, but through Jesus, that separation is overcome.

This Resurrection Sunday, we’ll explore one life-changing question:
How does God deal with sin?

Together, we’ll discover:
✝️ The Substitutionary Suffering of the Cross
Jesus took our place—the righteous for the unrighteous.

✝️ The Sufficient Satisfaction of the Cross
“It is finished.” The payment for sin has been fully made—once and for all.

✝️ The Saving Success of the Cross
Because of Jesus, we are brought near to God—moving from separation to reconciliation.

This message is for anyone who has ever wondered:
• Can my sin really be forgiven?
• Is what Jesus did enough?
• Can I truly be made right with God?

Come and see why the cross still matters today—and why it matters for you.

Bring your family, invite a friend, and join us as we celebrate the hope of Resurrection Sunday!

I Am Third: Others Second

What if true greatness isn’t about being first… but choosing to be third?

This week, we’re leaning into a powerful truth from the life of Jesus:
👉 God First
👉 Others Second
👉 Self Third

In a world that pushes us to chase recognition, status, and comfort—Jesus calls us to something radically different: a life of service.

Are we willing to:
• Serve when no one notices?
• Choose humility over recognition?
• Put others before ourselves?

“Even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” (Mark 10:45)

Join us this Sunday as we discover:
The Resistance, The Reality, and The Reward of Serving
