From our AIGA Missions Chairman, Dr. Jack Morgan

To: Members, Friends and Partners of AIGA. Greetings, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.

For many years, AIGA has been involved in spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the United States and many other countries. From Scotland, to India … to Africa and the Philippines … to Haiti, and Nicaragua and Honduras … to our Canadian neighbors on the North and our Latino neighbors to the south. Our desire and calling to reach into communities, villages, and remote sites to share the message of hope and salvation, has been the heart of our mission. When we survey the numerous ministries associated with this organization that have traversed onto foreign soil, we are in awe! The incredible outreaches … the lives that have been changed, the souls that have come to Christ, and the declaration of the word of God to the hurting and outcast, is evidence of the love and compassion of Christ that those connected with AIGA have sacrificially bestowed upon others in need. Ministries such as Rick and Barbara Haynes work in Haiti, Alfred and Febe Morgan’s work in Nicaragua and Honduras, the ministry of PAIGA Director’s Donald and Celia Soriano in the Philippines, Sam and Vicki Williams work in Honduras, Isak Raj’s efforts in India, and the work of Edward and Esmelda Champagne with children south of the border, remind us of the incredible difference made every day in the name of our Lord, just to name a few. From a personal perspective, the Anchor of Hope Church continues to work in Uganda Africa and the Philippines to support orphanages, schools and churches like Eagles Nest Ministries and Maranatha Christian Boarding School. We have provided seed for crops, solar panels to generate electricity, and keyboards, mixers, and other electronics for local church ministry. We have help install new water wells for fresh drinking water and helped buy beds and mattresses for the children to sleep on. We have helped to construct clinics, bathrooms, dormitories and classrooms. All these ministries and many more are helping to lead people to Jesus every day.

Each of these outreaches labor in the vineyard to help feed, clothe and educate disadvantaged children and build bridges of hope that demonstrate the abiding love of Christ for all. Unfortunately, many of these works go unnoticed and unpublished. During our national convention, we have tried to showcase some of these great works, so that people may know the vast responsibilities, spiritual rewards and supernatural victories that God has wrought through such personal sacrifice in the mission field. However, based on the magnitude of their efforts, and the relatively short time we have during our mission’s service, we have not been able to fully embrace many of these great works, which duly merit recognition. This is why, we have decided to launch our first ever AIGA “Annual Missions Convention.” We are excited for the opportunity to dedicate two days of services, to allow our missionaries to share the great things God is doing throughout the world. This convention will be held September 22-23, 2023 at the Anchor of Hope Church in Saint Ann, Missouri. We are praying that all our AIGA missionaries, and our international partners can join us during this meeting. It will be an exciting time of sharing, fellowship and food, as we celebrate the mighty things God is doing in the mission’s field. More information will be provided as we draw closer to this historical event. We would like to extend a personal invitation to all those who work in missions and that are part of AIGA, and to all our AIGA family and friends to attend, for which intent this letter is given. We look forward to seeing you there!
