Day 4 Scripture Reading: John 15:11..."my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. " NIV. As we abide in Christ and His words abide in us then our capacity for joy increases. He is the vine and we are the branches. As long as we stay connected to him, we will grow more in him. He is joy, and as long as he is joy and we are in & with him, we too will have joy. Our joy will deepen through this on-going relationship

Day 3 Scripture reading leading up to our Bible Teaching Time on Sunday June 14 @ 19am.
Today June 10, 2026 Psalm 16:11 "You make known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand" NIV
This joy comes from experiencing God's presence and not from changing circumstances. joy becomes full when we remain in God's presence. picture a cup that overflows because it is continuously filled, that is what it is like when we remain in God's presence.

this connects joy with spiritual empowerment. Itis not about us making happiness or joy or forced laughter but instead about how we draw strength from God's joy over us. Similar to a battery that gives energy to a device, think of God's joy providing spiritual energy for life's challenges & opportunities.

Joyous Laughter : "Philippians 4:4 Rejoyce in the Lord always, again I say Rejoyce" NIV
Paul is commanding rejoicing and it established joy as more than an emotional response to favorable and happy circumstances but it is a choice we can make no matter what our circumstance. Like a spring that flows regardless of surface or weather conditions, our joy draws from a source deeper than circumstances.

We do not know what tomorrow holds for it is not certain. Trust in God and His plan for you and then live out your faith daily so we can be a blessing and a hope to many.
By living faithfully every day, stepping forward into the unknown future and make connections with unknown people who will respond in unknown ways, we are being obedient to God and a blessing to others. We are blessed to be a blessing and are that blessing by being obedient to God.

Our next Bible Teaching for Sunday June 7 is on Being a Blessing by being obedient. We will be walking with Abram (Abraham) and each day will be a Bible Reading Plan leading up to Sunday.

Today, Friday June 5, 2026 reading: Deuteronomy 11:26-28 "26 See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse— 27 the blessing if you obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you today; 28 the curse if you disobey the commands of the Lord your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known." NIV

We flourish when we are in harmony with God's plan, following & obeying his commands. We should be striving to put ourselves in a position with him to received his best. Compare this to a plant, when we put that plant in good soil, good light, & give it water & proper nutrients daily, the plant will grow well and produce good fruit. When we are rooted in a relationship with God, read his word daily and pray daily, we will produce good 'fruit'. In turn, this makes for happy life and it is obeying the commands of our Father in heaven
