The De Soto KC Car Show Committee is looking to add a few more great raffle prizes for this year’s show!

We would love donations from local businesses, organizations, or individuals. Gift cards, merchandise, gift baskets, services, automotive items, or other fun prizes would all be greatly appreciated.

Every donation helps make our raffle even better while supporting the 2026 Knights of Columbus #1185 Car Show & Swap Meet and the community causes it benefits.

St. Rose Teacher Appreciation

Annie Stearns coordinated with Emily Allen to help make wishes come true for the teachers at St. Rose of Lima School. A wish list was collected from the teachers for the upcoming school year, allowing them to request supplies they would find most helpful.

The Columbia Ann’s voted to donate $50 per teacher, and additional members made personal donations, bringing the total to $100 per teacher in supplies from their wish lists.

Annie combined all of the teachers’ lists, placed the order through Amazon, and had the supplies delivered to the school. Snacks were also provided for the teachers’ lounge as an extra way to show our appreciation.

We are grateful for everyone who contributed and helped make this project a success. We wish all of the St. Rose teachers a wonderful and successful school year!
