Pastor life is a whole lot more than preaching on Sunday. 😂

It’s jumping in with kids, praying with people, sharing conversations in the hallway, worshiping alongside the church, encouraging people, and serving wherever there’s a need.

We’re thankful for Pastor Keith and for the many ways he loves and serves our church family — both from the pulpit and everywhere else. ❤️

Kids need places where they can belong, ask questions, have fun, and discover what it looks like to follow Jesus. ❤️

That’s what we hope FRIENDS Club can be.

This year we’ll be exploring Heroes of the Faith — people in Scripture and throughout history who trusted God and practiced faith in everyday life.

There will be Bible learning, worship, games, activities, friends, and plenty of fun along the way!

Church is more than a place we gather once a week.

It’s conversations after service, people praying for one another, kids running through the halls, volunteers quietly showing up, shared meals, laughter, worship, and learning to follow Jesus together.

We’re grateful for the ordinary moments that make up life together at Denver Friends Church. ❤️

Today is National Relaxation Day — which feels like a pretty good reminder that God has been inviting us into rest all along. 💛

Sabbath isn’t just about doing nothing. It’s about making space to slow down, breathe, remember who God is, and trust that the world keeps turning even when we stop.

So wherever this week has taken you, we hope you can find a little room to rest today.

And tomorrow, come rest and worship with us. ❤️

Beginning September 2, kids ages 4–12 are invited to join us Wednesday nights from 6:00–8:00 PM as we discover the Heroes of the Faith — people in Scripture and throughout history who followed God with courage, trust, worship, generosity, and more.

This year’s theme:
🦸 Not All Heroes Wear Capes!

Each week includes Bible learning, games, worship, activities, friends, and plenty of fun.

today is National Sons and Daughters Day — and it has us thinking about what it means to belong to the family of God. ❤️

When we gather in worship, we come as sons and daughters of a faithful Father — different ages, different stories, one church family learning to follow Jesus together.

We’re grateful for every generation that makes up Denver Friends Church and for the gift of worshiping side by side.

“For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.” — Galatians 3:26
