Please join CSL Denver this Sunday, June 7, as Rev. Elzia Sekou shares his thoughts on “What If Love is Bigger Than We’ve Allowed?” Our theme for the month of June is “Engaging the Bigness of Love!”

We all want to know what Love is. What if Love is more than what we have allowed? What if we are able to let Love be present in the uncomfortable and the good?

Our relationship with Love is our relationship with ourselves. We are being invited to bring a deep, loving awareness to the entirety of our being. This isn't about selectively embracing only our "good" parts; it's about extending love to every facet of who we are – our strengths, our vulnerabilities, our shadows, and our light – to the best of our ability.

This isn't about ignoring difficulty, but rather recognizing that even within pain, challenge, or discomfort, the very essence of Love, as a divine, impelling force, remains present.

"No one can swing out into the Universal without love, for the whole universe is based upon it." – Ernest Holmes

Please join CSL Denver this Sunday, May 31, as our good friend, Rev. Dr. Paula Belleggie shares her thoughts on “Trusting the Process in the Midst of Uncertainty!”

Faith can be understood in many ways, belief is one, but it's not the only definition.

In an active spiritual practice like those taught in Science of Mind, doubt is not the opposite of faith. Instead, it can be a pathway to deeper faith, a sign that something needs attention or exploration, or an indication that we may have strayed from our spiritual alignment.

By embracing our doubt, we open the door to greater love, deeper fulfillment, and a more expansive spiritual life.

"All the power of the universe is with you. Feel it, know it, and then act as though it were true." – Ernest Holmes, The Science of Mind

About the Community Café. Every 4th Sunday, instead of our standard celebration service, we get together for a tasty potluck and explore topics of interest to our CSL Denver family. The Community Café is a monthly happening! Everyone is invited and feel free to bring some food and a friend. The Café is free, and love offerings are always welcome.

REMEMBER – The Community Café will not be recorded, so please come in person, bring a friend and a dish to share!

Please join CSL Denver this Sunday, May 17, as Rev. Elzia Sekou shares his thoughts on “Uncertainty and the Power of Discernment!”

Spiritual experience often comes when the “conditions of single-mindedness are met.” When something has happened which allows us to focus on one thing, then we often get the spiritual answers or experiences that we are looking for. In the context of divine uncertainty, fully exploring and leaning into our doubt can be the catalyst for a deeper and richer faith.

Human strife is not necessarily a bad thing, though it can be uncomfortable. It offers us a new orientation to an eternal and timeless reality beyond perceived conditions.

"Creation is eternally going on; change is always taking place within that which is Changeless. Forms appear and disappear in a Medium which of Itself is formless." – Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind

Please join CSL Denver this Mother's Day Sunday, May 10, as Rev. Elzia Sekou shares his thoughts on “Exploring Vulnerability!”

Each of us, in our own ways, wrestle with questions, uncertainty, and the longing to understand. We are often tempted to keep our doubts hidden, especially within communities of faith. We fear that revealing them might cause others to think less of us, or that our questions will somehow be seen as weakness or a lack of belief. It is easy to assume that doubt makes us seem less than or unwise, yet nothing could be further from the truth.

Doubt is not the opposite of faith, it is often the very ground in which faith takes root and grows. By exploring our doubts, we invite curiosity, humility, and deeper trust into our spiritual lives.

In our communities, we would do well to share our doubts as freely as we share our victories, knowing both can strengthen and sustain us.

"If we are to have an active faith – the faith of God instead of merely a faith in God – our thought must be centered in Universal Mind." – Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind

Live In-Person and on Facebook and YouTube!

Please join CSL Denver this Easter Sunday, May 3, as our Rev. Elzia Sekou shares his thoughts on “Uncertainty is the Starting Block!” Our theme for the month of May is “The Power of Uncertainty!”

Each of us are manifestations of the One, perfect, and complete Divine. Each of us, also, are human and have the privilege of exploring Divine perfection in human incarnation, with all its messiness.

Uncertainty and self-doubt are a normal and expected part of this experience, not something to be ashamed of or hide away. They give us the opportunity to explore our doubts and curiosities deeply, and by leaning into self-doubt and uncertainty (instead of trying to gloss it over), we may find ourselves more certain of who we are in the end.

"Our mind must be steady in its conviction that our life is some part of God, and that the Spirit is incarnated in us. Affirmations and denials are for the purpose of vitalizing faith – for the purpose of converting thought to a belief in things spiritual." – Ernest Holmes, Science of Mind
