““Come and see,” he said. It was about four o’clock in the afternoon when they went with him to the place where he was staying, and they remained with him the rest of the day.” (‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭39‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- These are Jesus words to you and me, “Come and see”
- The first part is “Come”
- These are two of John’s disciplines.
- They were following John and then they meet Jesus and immediately start following Him.
- The interesting thing is that John does not say, “No!” Don’t follow Him, keep following me!
- John is not insecure!
- John knows who Jesus is!
- John knows that following Jesus will transform and change their life!
- There is only one Messiah and He is here!
- The benefits are more than can be expressed in words.
- So this is the same call that He give to you today!
- He says, “Come and See”
- Jesus says to you wherever you are today, mentally, physically, emotionally, financially or spiritually… He says “Come and see”
- Come first and then you will see!
- James 1:4 says “Come near to God and he will come near to you.”
- You make a move towards Him and He is already on His way to you!
- Are you sick? Come and see the Great Physician!
- Come and meet the Healer!
- 1 Peter 2:24 says, ““He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.””
- Are you depressed? Come and see the giver of Hope! The one who is Hope!
- Come and find out what it means when Nehemiah says, “The joy of the Lord is your strength.” (Nehemiah 8:10)
- Are you in emotional turmoil and in need of peace? Ephesians 2:14 says, “For he himself is our peace”
- When you feel dirty and sinful, Jesus will clothe you in His Righteousness!
- Romans 5:17 says, "Those who receive the abundance of grace and of the free gift of righteousness will reign in life through the one, Jesus Christ."
- I could go on and on listing one scripture after another but the real question is are you going to “Come”
- It’s not until you make the move that you get to see Him and experience all of His goodness!
- Today, He is calling you to come!
- Have a great Thursday!

“From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.”
‭‭John‬ ‭1‬:‭16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

- John 1:16 says, from his abundance we have received!
- The definition of abundance is “An ample quantity or plentiful”
- It means that there is no worry of using it up or running out of it.
- John is saying that Jesus has an ample supply of His gracious blessing available for you!
- It will never run out!
- The Amplified Translation says, “Out of His fullness [the superabundance of His grace and truth] we have all received grace upon grace [spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing, favor upon favor, and gift heaped upon gift].”
- ‭‭Maybe you have been living in a place of Spiritual poverty.
- Maybe you have been struggling with depression or anxiety or even feeling hopeless.
- You don’t have to live in poverty any longer because Jesus has an overwhelming supply of mercy and grace available for you!
- You have a super abundance of favor sitting there waiting for you to believe the Words of Jesus and accept it!
- You never have to live under a curse when you have an ample supply of His blessing!
- This verse says, “We have all received”
- If you have received something that means that you already possess it!
- Most of the time we don’t realize what we already have!
- Don’t live another day in spiritual poverty!
- Don’t live starving when there is a buffet of spiritual blessing and favor waiting for you!
- Simply acknowledge what He has already given you!
- Receive it, thank Him for it and begin living in a new mindset, behavior and a new attitude!
- Today, you possess an abundance of mercy, grace favored and the blessing of the Lord!
- Start living out and walking in His blessing!
- Have a great Tuesday!

DEVO. 10.24.26

“There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death.”
(‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭14‬:‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- There is a path set before you that seems right!
- Just because something seems right doesn’t mean it is right!
- Your enemy, the Devil, who is know as a liar!
- In John 8:44 Jesus says, “He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
- ‭‭He knows how to deceive just like he deceived Eve in the Garden of Eden.
- He knows how to put a path in front of you that “seems right” but turns out to be absolutely wrong!
- Seeming right is different than being right!
- In Matthew 7:13 Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
- If you were walking down a road and came to a big, broad, wide gate , that would naturally “seem like” the right path to take.
- But what “seems like” the right path for your natural understanding can be the path that leads to death.
- Be very careful for what “seems like”
- You know, the thing makes you feel good and comfortable.
- The thing that sounds good to your ears and looks good to your eyes.
- The painless path and the easy way to go!
- Jesus doesn’t want you to discern with your flesh but discern with your Spirit!
- Pray and ask the spirit of God to discern where you are going and ask Him to reveal it to your heart!
- What looks like the wrong way may be the right way!
- Jesus says, “Small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
- Choose the way that everyone is NOT going!
- Be part of the few!
- Choose the narrow and the small!
- Choose the road less traveled!
- Choose Life!
- Have a great weekend!

“The LORD told Gideon, “With these 300 men I will rescue you and give you victory over the Midianites. Send all the others home.”” (‭‭Judges‬ ‭7‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

- Sometimes more is not better!
- One of the most dangerous place to be as a Christian. Is when you can trust in your own strength, power and wisdom and don’t need God.
- We have a “Need” to be dependent on God.
- Don’t ever let Gods blessings of finances or resources pull you away from dependence on Him and His presence
- In Judges‬ ‭7‬:‭2‬, “The LORD said to Gideon, “You have too many warriors with you. If I let all of you fight the Midianites, the Israelites will boast to me that they saved themselves by their own strength.”
- And this is the same for us!
- We must always remain dependent on His Word, and the only way that you can have His word is if you are in His presence and in His Word!
- Colossians 3:16 say, “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…”
- His Word has to “dwell in you richly”!
- To dwell means to “stay in you” or “take up residence” in you!
- You have to rely on it and use it!
- When did Gideon have victory over the Midianites? The moment that God said, “I will rescue you and give you victory!”
- When God gave His Word, God gave Him the victory!
- This was before Gideon went to the battlefield and armed them with a trumpet, empty pitchers, and torches inside the pitchers!
- Most people would say that God is being ridiculous! And yes, sometimes God does have to do the ridiculous just to prove to us that He is God and we are not.
- Sometimes God has to strip us down to nothing to prove that He is up to something!
- In Psalm 20:7, it says, “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”
- ‭‭Trusting in chariots and horses means, man’s strength and ability.
- But let me remind you, the name of the Lord is always stronger than all the wisdom and strength of man!
- Today, it may be time to let go of some of the things that you are trusting in!
- Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”
- ‭‭Trusting with “All your strength” not “some”
- You can’t give Him all if you are still trusting in some of your strength.
- You may need to empty yourself down to nothing in order to trust Him again and let Him be God!
- His ways are better and His wisdom is greater!
- Wait on Him, receive a Word from Him and trust in His Word!
