Northwest Christian Church A family journeying together to be more like Jesus. Northwest Christian Church is an Independent Christian Church. We believe He was fully God and fully man.

We believe that Jesus is the pure and holy Son of God. We believe in His death on the cross and in His resurrection from the dead. We believe in the infallibility of the Bible. The Bible is accurate, sufficient for faith and practice. We practice baptism by immersion.

Tomorrow and Saturday are picture days at Northwest! Pictures will be taken in A2, the classroom at the back of the Fellowship Hall on the south side. The doors near the office will be unlocked for people to enter. Friday we have openings between 3:15 and 3:45, 4:30 and 5:15, and one slot at 6pm. On Saturday, we have slots open from 10:30am-1pm and 1:30pm-4pm. Picture slots are every 15 minutes, so if you have not signed up, feel free to pop in during those times to get your picture taken for the directory.

*We do have other times available outside of these 2 days, this is just what is available this weekend.

*Don't forget! Saturday at 10am is also one of our Staycation days! There will be a group meeting outside of Overlook Adventure to play a round of golf and get ice cream!

Here are the arrangements for Rick Greenwell.

After his service on Saturday, May 9th, there will be a time of food and fellowship, both things that Rick truly enjoyed. We are looking for people to bring a variety of trays to serve- meat/cheese/cracker trays, veggie trays, fruit trays, dessert trays, or chips and dip. If you would be willing to bring a tray, please contact the church office at 217-429-4278 by text or email the church at [email protected].

Rick was born on September 19th, 1970 and passed away on April 22nd, 2026 at the age of 55
