My adopted brother-like, Byde is getting a new kidney today. I have known Byde since he was a missionary in Decatur and I was just a kid. His family has been my family ever since. Byde had kidney troubles from the time he was an infant. At age 15 he received a kidney from his sister Cheryl, which was life changing. That kidney has blessed his life for 46 years, but over a year ago it began failing on him.

This young man, Braydon (below on left) voluntarily tested and was found to be a kidney match. And today is the long awaited day he is donating one of his kidneys to Byde…today is the transplant surgery❤️❤️❤️.

Byde Willis and his wife, Melanie Willis are so grateful for such a generous gift! But could use lots of extra prayers that all goes well, and that Byde’s body will accept the new kidney.

My mom ( according to Barbara) left this earth(March 6th) to get ready for a hot date with my dad for his birthday (March 7). I am so happy she is back with him and all the loved ones she has lost. After the last 2 years she has had, I am so glad she is not in that situation anymore. She passed in her sisters home surrounded by loved ones. Love you mom!

It is with great sadness to post that my Dad, Lee Jackson has left this world. It is with great joy that I know he has been reunited with my Mom. He missed her so much. We were part of the Decatur ward back in they day and he loved his Decatur family. 🤟

Graveside Services for Donald Barber will be at 11am at the Pleasant Valley Cemetary in Kennedy Illinois (5-10 minutes west of Clinton, IL) on November 1, 2019. Following the services there will be a potluck luncheon at 1pm at the Decatur Ward Building. All are welcomed to attend.
