💙 Child Dedication Sunday | June 21 💙

This Sunday is a special day as we celebrate both Child Dedication Sunday and Father’s Day!

Join us during our 9:30 AM or 11:00 AM service as families publicly commit to raising their children to know, love, and follow Jesus. Child dedication is a beautiful reminder of the responsibility and blessing God has given parents to train up their children in His ways.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” – Proverbs 22:6

We’ll also be celebrating the amazing dads in our church family with Donuts with Dad as we honor the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who faithfully lead, love, and point their families toward Christ.

Come worship with us, celebrate these precious families, enjoy some donuts, and thank God for the gift of godly fathers. We can’t wait to see you there! 🍩❤️👨‍👧‍👦

🌳❤️ Jesus Sees Us and Loves Us ❤️🌳

This week in First Kids, we learned about Zacchaeus and how Jesus chose to be his friend.

Zacchaeus had made a lot of wrong choices, and many people didn’t think he deserved Jesus’ attention. But when Jesus saw him sitting in the sycamore tree, He called him by name and chose to spend time with him. That encounter changed Zacchaeus’ life forever!

Just like Zacchaeus, we all make mistakes and sin sometimes. But the amazing truth is that Jesus loves us anyway. He came to save us, forgive us, and have a relationship with us.

✨ Big Idea: Jesus wants to be our forever friend!

📖 “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” — Luke 19:10

We had a wonderful time learning that no one is too far from God’s love and that Jesus sees each of us right where we are.

☀️ Summer Nights at Harbor Oaks was a blast! ☀️

What an incredible evening filled with laughter, games, friendships, great food, and lots of fun! From chalk art and outdoor games to sharing a meal together, it was wonderful seeing kids and families enjoying time together and making summer memories.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers and families who helped make the night so special. Seeing smiling faces, new friendships, and kids having fun in a safe and welcoming environment is what Summer Nights is all about!

🐑💚 First Kids Ministry Update 💚🐑

Today in Kids Ministry, we learned that Jesus is the Good Shepherd!

Just like a shepherd lovingly cares for and protects his sheep, Jesus watches over us, guides us, and loves us every day. We talked about how Jesus knows each of us personally and wants us to follow Him.

📖 “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” — John 10:14

Ask your child what they learned about the Good Shepherd today and how Jesus takes care of His sheep!

🌾 Today in Preschool, we learned about Ruth and Naomi! 🌾

Ruth showed incredible love and loyalty when she told Naomi, “Wherever you go, I’ll go.” ❤️

We talked about how God wants us to love and care for the people He has placed in our lives. Just as Ruth stayed by Naomi’s side, we can be kind, faithful friends and family members who help and encourage others.

Ask your preschooler to tell you about Ruth and Naomi and who they can show love and kindness to this week!
