Matthew 9:9-13; 18-26

This summer, we're hitting the road.
Starting June 7, join us for ON THE ROAD — a four-week series about what it looks like to really follow Jesus. Not the safe, comfortable version. The real thing.
We'll follow Matthew as he walks away from everything at a tax collector's booth. We'll travel with Paul through detours and doors that won't open. We'll sit in a prison cell at midnight and hear two men sing until the walls shake. And we'll ask the question that ties it all together: where is God asking me to go?

Bring a friend. The road is better with company.

Trinity Sunday

05/31/2026

Genesis 1:26–27

The Trinity is not an abstract doctrine to solve but a revelation of God’s nature: mutual, self-giving, life-creating love. God does not rule alone. God exists in relationship—and invites us into that same pattern of life. We often treat God as distant authority – One voice, one throne, one direction. – That image shapes how we imagine power, obedience, and faith. But Scripture reveals God as communion – Father, Son, Spirit: distinct, unified, moving toward one another. – God’s power is shared, not hoarded. God’s glory is relational. We are created in that image – To belong, to give and receive, to live interdependently. – Sin fractures relationship; salvation restores it.Christian life is participation, not performance – Baptism names us into God’s life. – The Spirit draws us into love that sends us outward.Community engagement is not “extra”—it flows from God’s own nature. The church doesn’t do relationship; the church is relationship.

Pentecost

Acts 2:1-21

Theme: Putting it all together — reconciliation with God, with vision, with others, and with mission culminates in Spirit‑empowered community and being sent. This week focuses on how the resurrection life and reconciliation become real when the Spirit comes, the body of Christ acts, and we go out into the world. Focus:
Pentecost is not merely the birth of the church; it is the moment the resurrection life of Jesus becomes a living, moving, boundary-breaking community through the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is poured out abundantly, unbounded by age, gender, class, language, or walls, and the church is sent into the world to participate in God’s flourishing work..

John 17:1‑11

Hymns:
Reconciliation isn’t only internal or relational — it’s mission‑oriented. We are not just forgiven; we are sent and empowered—to live out reconciliation in community and mission.
