Even though the parade is canceled, you're welcome to join us (in the A/C!) between 5:30pm and 6:00pm for burgers and hotdogs! Please bring a side and/or dessert!

Due to extreme heat conditions and increasing likelihood of afternoon storms, the Crozet Volunteer Fire Department Fourth of July Parade has been cancelled. The parade will not be rescheduled.

I made this decision after consulting with Albemarle County Emergency Management, a meteorologist, and taking into account all community feedback, current weather projections, and the health and safety of all participants, spectators, and first responders.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to ensure a safe and enjoyable Independence Day celebration for everyone.
