❤️🤍💙 Happy Independence Day! ❤️🤍💙

Today, as our nation marks 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, we give thanks to Almighty God for the many blessings He has bestowed upon our country. We remember those who have faithfully served to preserve our freedoms, and we pray for our leaders, our communities, and all who call this nation home.

As we celebrate, may we be mindful that our ultimate hope is found not in earthly kingdoms, but in the everlasting Kingdom of our Lord Jesus Christ. May God grant us wisdom, humility, justice, and peace as we seek to love Him and serve our neighbors.

From all of us at Church of the Apostles, we wish you a safe and blessed Independence Day. 🎆

God bless you, and God bless the United States of America.

Happy Father's Day!

Today we honor and give thanks for fathers, grandfathers, and all who have faithfully nurtured, encouraged, and guided us in life and faith. May God bless them abundantly as they continue to serve their families and communities and strengthen them as they seek to raise the next generation in faith, hope, and love.

It’s almost here! Tomorrow (Sunday, June 14) is our BBQ chicken dinner and mandolin concert with the L’Esperance Mandolin Ensemble! The dinner starts at 5 p.m. and the concert is at 6 p.m. On the menu is BBQ chicken, homemade potato salad, cole slaw, green salad, sweet corn and cornbread. A dessert to contribute to the dessert table is welcome!

For the dinner, a free-will offering will be accepted. A dessert to share is welcome. Tickets to the concert are $15 ahead, $20 at the door. Click this link to order tickets.

All proceeds will benefit the Blackrock Elementary School Food Pantry, a neighborhood school just a couple of miles from our church. This will provide support to families during the school’s summer break.

On June 14 at 5 p.m., we’re hosting a BBQ chicken dinner with all the fixins - paired with a concert with the L’Esperance Mandolin Ensemble.
