SUNDAY WORSHIP & WORD

NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US

Romans 8: From Condemnation to Confidence — The Finale

“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.”
— Romans 8:38 (NLT)

Church, we've reached the final word in our journey through Romans 8.

And what a journey it has been.

We began with one of the greatest promises in Scripture:

“There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.”

And Paul closes this chapter with another:

NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM GOD'S LOVE.

Church, don't miss what God has shown us between those two promises.

Romans 8:1–4: No condemnation.

Romans 8:5–14: The Holy Spirit leads us.

Romans 8:15–17: We have been adopted into God's family.

Romans 8:18–27: There is glory after the groaning, and the Spirit helps us in our weakness.

Romans 8:28–30: God is still working.

Romans 8:31–34: God is for us.

And now:

Romans 8:35–39: Nothing can separate us.

What a Gospel!

The Christian life isn't the promise of an easy road.

It's the promise that Jesus will never abandon us on the road.

There will be valleys.

There will be battles.

There will be tears.

There may be diagnoses we didn't expect.

There may be prayers whose answers we don't understand.

There may be seasons when all we can do is whisper:

“Jesus, help me.”

But through every one of them, God's Word still declares:

YOU ARE LOVED.

Trouble cannot change it.

Hardship cannot change it.

Fear cannot change it.

Your past cannot change it.

Your worst day cannot change it.

Death itself cannot change it.

Because God's love for us isn't anchored in our ability to hold onto Him.

It's anchored in what Jesus Christ accomplished for us.

That's why we worship.

That's why we pray.

That's why we preach Jesus.

And that's why Community Worship International will continue to be:

A House of Prayer.
A House of Mercy.
A House of Grace.

Because somewhere today is a person who believes they've gone too far for God to still want them.

Church, we have a message for them:

THE CROSS SAYS OTHERWISE.

Jesus still saves.

Grace still reaches.

Mercy is still available.

The Holy Spirit is still working.

And the Father's love is still calling people home.

🙏 LET US PRAY

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the truth of Romans 8.

Thank You that because of Jesus, condemnation no longer gets the final word.

Thank You for giving us Your Holy Spirit.

Thank You for bringing us into Your family.

Thank You for meeting us in our suffering.

Thank You for working when we cannot see what You're doing.

Thank You for being for us when the world seems against us.

And thank You for loving us with a love that nothing in creation can break.

Today we pray for every person who walks through our doors carrying a burden.

For the sick—bring strength and healing.

For the grieving—bring comfort.

For the discouraged—restore hope.

For families struggling—bring restoration.

For prodigals—draw them home.

For those trapped in shame—show them the freedom of Jesus Christ.

And for those who believe they've been forgotten, let them encounter Your presence and know:

They are seen.
They are loved.
And Jesus is still calling.

Holy Spirit, move among us.

Make us a church that worships boldly, prays faithfully, loves deeply, and keeps Jesus at the center of everything we do.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

🔥 CHURCH, HERE IS OUR FINAL ROMANS 8 DECLARATION:

NO CONDEMNATION.

NO ABANDONMENT.

NO SEPARATION.

GOD IS FOR US.
THE SPIRIT IS WITHIN US.
CHRIST IS HOLDING US.

The battle may have a name.

The diagnosis may have a name.

The struggle may have a name.

BUT OUR HOPE HAS A NAME TOO.

HIS NAME IS JESUS.

And nothing—absolutely nothing—can separate us from the love of God revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Come worship with us.

Come as you are.

Come expecting grace.

Come expecting mercy.

COME EXPECTING JESUS. 🙌🔥✝️

🔥 DAILY BREAD & DEEP TRUTH 🔥
ROMANS 8: FROM CONDEMNATION TO CONFIDENCE

✝️ SATURDAY — IF GOD IS FOR US
📖 Romans 8:31–34 (NLT)

📖 Romans 8:31 (NLT)
“If God is for us, who can ever be against us?”

Church, notice what Paul does not say.

He doesn't say nothing will ever come against us.

Jesus never promised His followers a life without trouble, suffering, opposition, sickness, loss, temptation, or tears.

The Bible is filled with people who loved God and still walked through battles.

But Romans 8 gives us something greater than the promise of an easy life.

It gives us the promise of GOD'S PRESENCE, GOD'S PURPOSE, AND GOD'S FAITHFULNESS IN THE MIDDLE OF IT.

🔥 IF GOD IS FOR US — WHO CAN EVER BE AGAINST US?

Your battle may have a name.

CANCER.
FEAR.
ADDICTION.
FINANCIAL TROUBLE.
GRIEF.
DEPRESSION.
FAMILY STRUGGLES.
REGRET.
SHAME.
SIN.

Those things are real.

Faith doesn't require us to pretend the mountain isn't there.

Faith looks at the mountain and remembers who created the mountain.

And here's today's deep truth:

🔥 THE BATTLE MAY HAVE A NAME, BUT IT DOES NOT HAVE THE FINAL NAME — JESUS DOES.

Then Paul points us toward the greatest evidence that God is for us:

📖 Romans 8:32 (NLT)

God did not withhold His own Son but gave Jesus for us.

In other words:

LOOK AT THE CROSS. ✝️

Whenever the enemy whispers,
“God doesn't care about you…”

Look at the Cross.

Whenever suffering makes you wonder,
“Has God forgotten me?”

Look at the Cross.

Whenever your circumstances make you question God's love…

LOOK AT THE CROSS.

Calvary forever settles the question:

🔥 GOD IS FOR US.

But there's something else we need to understand.

Sometimes we hear “God is for us” and assume that means God will always make our circumstances turn out exactly the way we want.

Scripture doesn't promise that.

Sometimes God moves the mountain.

Sometimes God carries us over the mountain.

Sometimes He gives us strength to walk straight through the valley.

And sometimes the miracle is discovering that what was supposed to destroy us couldn't take Jesus out of us.

Church, don't miss that.

VICTORY ISN'T ALWAYS THE ABSENCE OF A BATTLE.

Sometimes victory is standing in the middle of the battle and still being able to say:

“JESUS IS LORD.”

🔥 That's victory.

Paul continues in Romans 8:33–34 by asking who can accuse or condemn those God has chosen.

Think about where Romans 8 began.

📖 Romans 8:1 — NO CONDEMNATION.

Now we're approaching the end of the chapter and Paul brings us right back to that truth.

The enemy may accuse.

Your past may accuse.

People may accuse.

Your own mind may replay every mistake you've ever made.

But for those who belong to Christ:

JESUS PAID THE DEBT.
JESUS TOOK THE JUDGMENT.
JESUS WENT TO THE CROSS.
JESUS ROSE FROM THE GRAVE.

And Romans 8:34 gives us another incredible truth:

🔥 JESUS CHRIST IS INTERCEDING FOR US.

Think about that today.

The One who died for you is praying for you.

The One who conquered the grave is standing for you.

The One who knows every failure, every weakness, every struggle and every tear has not abandoned you.

So when the enemy says:

“You're finished.”

Jesus says:

“I PAID FOR THEM.”

When shame says:

“You're condemned.”

The Gospel says:

🔥 “NO CONDEMNATION.”

When fear says:

“You're alone.”

Romans 8 says:

🔥 “GOD IS FOR YOU.”

That's the journey we've been taking through Romans 8 this week:

NO CONDEMNATION.
THE SPIRIT LEADS US.
WE HAVE BEEN ADOPTED.
THE SPIRIT HELPS US.
GOD IS STILL WORKING.
AND NOW — GOD IS FOR US.

Do you see what Paul is building?

Our confidence isn't based on everything going right.

Our confidence is based on WHO GOD IS.

Church, somebody needs that reminder today.

Maybe you've been praying and the answer hasn't come yet.

Maybe you're carrying something nobody else knows about.

Maybe your family is struggling.

Maybe the doctor's report wasn't what you wanted.

Maybe financially you're wondering how everything is going to work out.

Maybe you're fighting something you've been fighting for years.

Don't confuse the presence of a battle with the absence of God.

🔥 GOD HAS NOT LEFT THE BATTLEFIELD.

And neither should you.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep worshiping.

Keep standing on the Word.

Keep your eyes on Jesus.

Because the God who was faithful yesterday has not changed today.

🙏 SATURDAY PRAYER

Father, thank You that our confidence is not found in our circumstances but in You. Thank You for giving Your Son for us and showing us at the Cross just how great Your love truly is.

For every person reading this who is fighting a battle today, give them strength. For those walking through sickness, bring comfort and healing according to Your will. For those grieving, surround them with Your presence. For those struggling financially, provide what they need. For families that are hurting, bring restoration. For those battling addiction, fear, depression, regret, shame, or sin, remind them that Jesus is greater.

When we cannot see what You are doing, help us trust Your heart.

When the mountain doesn't move immediately, give us strength to keep climbing.

When the valley becomes long, remind us that we are not walking through it alone.

And when the enemy tries to condemn us, remind us that Jesus died, Jesus rose again, and Jesus is interceding for us.

We declare today:

NO CONDEMNATION.
NO ABANDONMENT.
NO SEPARATION.

🔥 GOD IS FOR US.
THE SPIRIT IS WITHIN US.
CHRIST IS HOLDING US.

In the mighty name of Jesus,

AMEN. 🙏✝️

Church, whatever you're facing today, remember:

THE BATTLE MAY HAVE A NAME —
BUT IT DOESN'T HAVE THE FINAL NAME.

🔥 JESUS DOES.

And sometimes God moves the mountain.

Sometimes God carries us over it.

Sometimes He walks us straight through it.

But one thing remains true:

🔥 HE HAS NEVER LOST A BATTLE — AND YOUR BATTLE ISN'T ABOUT TO BECOME HIS FIRST.

📖 Read Romans 8:31–34 today.

Tomorrow we finish our journey through Romans 8 with one of the greatest declarations in all of Scripture:

❤️ NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US.

SATURDAY PRAYER CORNER

CHURCH, LET'S STAND IN THE GAP

“And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.”
— Romans 8:26 (NLT)

Church, somebody needs us to pray today.

Somebody is sitting beside a hospital bed.

Somebody is receiving chemotherapy.

Somebody is waiting for test results.

Somebody is grieving.

Somebody is caring for a loved one while quietly becoming exhausted themselves.

Somebody's marriage is struggling.

Somebody's child has wandered away.

Somebody is worried about how they're going to pay the bills.

And somebody reading this is carrying something they haven't told anyone.

This is why the Church prays.

We don't have to know every detail.

We don't have to have every answer.

We simply need to know Who does.

Romans 8 tells us that even when we don't know what to pray, the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness.

So today, Community Worship International is standing in the gap.

🙏 LET US PRAY

Father, we bring before You the sick, the hurting, the grieving, the discouraged, and the weary.

We especially pray for those battling cancer and serious illness. Strengthen them through every treatment. Give wisdom to their doctors and medical teams. Surround their families with peace.

Comfort those walking through grief.

Strengthen caregivers who feel exhausted.

Restore families that are struggling.

Draw prodigal sons and daughters home.

Provide for those facing financial hardship.

Break chains of addiction.

Bring peace to anxious hearts.

And Father, for every private request represented by the words “Pray for me,” You already know the story.

Holy Spirit, intercede where our words fall short.

And make us more than a church that talks about prayer.

MAKE US A CHURCH THAT PRAYS.

A church that stands in the gap.

A church that carries one another's burdens.

A church that believes God still hears.

A church that believes God still moves.

🔥 OUR DECLARATION:

No condemnation.
No abandonment.
No separation.

God is for us.
The Spirit is within us.
Christ is holding us.

If you need prayer today, comment:

🙏 PRAY FOR ME

No explanation necessary.

We don't have to know your battle to stand with you before the throne of grace.
