What if God is at work even when hope feels distant? In Genesis 43, Jacob struggles to see beyond his grief and fear, while God continues unfolding His purposes through Joseph, transforming Judah, and moving the family toward restoration. Joseph’s story reminds us that we can trust God when circumstances don’t make sense, surrender what we cannot control, and find hope in His unfailing promises. Even when we cannot see what God is doing, we can trust that He is faithfully working for good.

Joseph’s story reveals how betrayal, injustice, and years of waiting became part of a harvest God was cultivating all along. Even when circumstances seem to tell a story of loss, God is still at work accomplishing His purposes. As we continue learning from the life of Joseph, we’ll discover how God can bring a harvest from even our most difficult seasons.

What do we do when the mission God has given us seems impossible—or the path toward it makes no sense? Joseph’s story reminds us that God’s mission rarely unfolds the way we might expect. The pit, the prison, the waiting, and the unexpected turns were not detours—they were all part of God’s preparation for what He had planned. As we continue learning from the life of Joseph, we’ll discover that when God gives the mission, He is also the One who accomplishes it.
