The Ascension of Our Lord Jesus Christ

Today the Church celebrates the Ascension of our Lord. Christ, who rose from the dead, ascends into heaven not to distance Himself from us, but to open for us the way to the Father.

This feast reminds us that our life has not only an earthly dimension. We are called to look higher, to live with faith, hope, and love, remembering that our final home is in the Kingdom of God.

As Christ ascends into heaven, He does not leave His disciples as orphans. He promises them the power of the Holy Spirit and sends them to be witnesses of the Gospel. In the same way, the Lord calls us to be His witnesses in our families, in our parish, and in our daily life.

Lord, lift our hearts toward heaven and help us live in such a way that our lives may witness to Your Resurrection.

Today, our parish joyfully congratulates Fr. Deacon Michael Guerrucci on the anniversary of his ordination to the diaconate!

We thank God for the gift of his vocation and for his faithful service to our parish community. His presence, prayer, and dedication are a blessing to all of us.

May the Lord continue to strengthen him, bless his ministry, and grant him many joyful and fruitful years of service in His Holy Church.

This past Sunday, our parish joyfully celebrated the Solemn Holy Communion of our children, which they received after their First Holy Confession — a truly beautiful and blessed day.

The church, festive atmosphere, and warm celebration after the Liturgy were a wonderful witness to the love, faith, and unity. We sincerely thank everyone who contributed and helped make this day so special and memorable.

We pray that the Lord continues to guide our children in faith and bless every family!

Цієї неділі наша парафія з великою радістю святкувала Урочисте Святе Причастя наших дітей, яке вони прийняли після своєї Першої Святої Сповіді — надзвичайно світлий і благословенний день для всієї спільноти.

Храм, святкова атмосфера та тепле святкування після Літургії стали прекрасним свідченням любові, віри та єдності нашої парафії. Щиро дякуємо всім, хто долучився до організації і зробив цей день таким особливим і незабутнім.
