Dr Long's new sermon series is "Stuff the Bible Doesn’t Say".
We've all heard, and use, these common sayings that are often attributed to the bible as the source - but those sayings aren't there!

Dr Long examines these sayings, their sources, and their affinity to the teachings of the bible that makes them seem like that's where they started.

This week is "To err is human; to forgive, divine".

We have a few weeks left to collect enough money to supply a food truck for the Trinity Community Ministries event in late July.

If you are not familiar with this organization, here's a quick explantation:

"Trinity Community Ministries (TCM) is a 36-bed transitional housing program for men who are experiencing homelessness and suffering from substance abuse. The men of Trinity are committed to changing their lives for the better through acquiring stable employment, establishing savings, and securing permanent housing before rejoining their families and loved ones. While in the program, participants are required to give back to the community through community service."
