We give thanks to God for the life of The Rev. Dr. Thomas E. Ridenhour, Sr., a lifelong son of St. James whose life and service were deeply rooted in this congregation. We hold the Ridenhour family in our prayers and commend Tom to the promises of our risen Lord.

The funeral rite will be celebrated at St. James Lutheran Church, 104 Union Street South in Concord on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 1:00pm. A formal time of visitation will precede the service beginning at Noon in the Fellowship Hall. Following worship, the family will remain for a time of informal visitation.

We’re halfway through our March Supply Drive, and thanks to your generosity, we’ve already collected so many helpful items for the Humane Society of Concord & Greater Cabarrus! 🐶🐱

There’s still time to give and make a difference for animals in need.

• Blankets (not stuffed or quilted)
• Canned chicken breast
• Dawn dish soap
• Liquid Tide detergent

📍 Donations can be placed on the counter under the Humane Society board in the portico.
