Dear God,
Today I want to ask for Your protection and blessing for my Christian sisters and brothers around the world.
Please give us all wisdom and guidance, and surround us with Your guardian angels...
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
Psalm 91:11
I pray for my Christian brothers and sisters, for pastors, for missionaries; for Christians in governments; for teachers and parents; for medical, social and relief workers; for every Christian that is doing Your work, Your will, and Your ministry.
I lift them up to You, as their responsibilities are great.
Please block Satan’s attempts to harm and deceive us.
Please help us to stay focused on the tasks and the work to which You have called us.
Lord Jesus, we are eager to receive Your power and to be Your witnesses as Jesus taught us...
"But you shall receive power
when the Holy Spirit has come upon you;
and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria,
and to the end of the earth.”
Acts 1:8
Thank You that we have the privilege to be Your witnesses today and everyday.

Dear Father in Heaven,

Today I want to ask for Your special protection and blessing upon the people who work with the Children in my church and in churches and schools in my community and around the world.
Please continue to work through Your servants to spiritually nurture the children under their care.

Help them to remain faithful to You, to their purpose, and to the welfare of the children You entrust to them.

I pray also that You would w**d out those who should not work around children; those who do not have the gifts or compassion; those whose motives are not pure and who would cause harm.

You have all power and authority over every person who works with children.

Thank You Lord, for blessing each child...

But Jesus called them to Him and said,
“Let the little children come to Me,
and do not forbid them;
for of such is the kingdom of God."
Luke 18:16

Dear God of resurrection and life,

Today I join with Christians around the world as we celebrate our risen and living Lord Jesus Christ on this Easter Sunday.

I rejoice in how You created me as Your unique and loved child...

For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Psalm 139:13

You created everything and You brought all life into existence.

I am in awe of You.
I look forward to the day when the whole world will recognize You and stand in awe of You...
Let all the earth fear the Lord;
Let all the inhabitants of the world
stand in awe of Him.
Psalm 33:8

I look forward to this day, because You have filled me with Your joy, which is my strength.....for this day is holy to our Lord.
Do not sorrow,
for the joy of the Lord
is your strength.
Nehemiah 8:10

In all circumstances I will praise You Lord...

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for Your unending mercy, grace and love.

Let me abide in the words of Jesus...
If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. And you shall know the truth,
and the truth shall make you free.
John 8:31-32

Jesus, You are the Truth and I will follow You every day of my life.

Each morning when I rise, let Your name and Your praise be the first words uttered from my mouth.
Help me to continually choose You above all else.
Sometimes I let other things influence my life---money, status, pleasure, success.

I come to You now, praising Your name and asking for Your forgiveness.

Please make me new today, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and provide me with Your strength to overcome all temptations.

There are no chains that You cannot break, no obstacles that You cannot overcome.
You are my loving Heavenly Father and I owe everything to You.

I am so thankful that You have called me to Your purposes on this earth.
I am grateful for Your salvation in Jesus and the comfort You have given me through Your Holy Spirit.

As I start this new day, I join the Apostle Paul in praying...

I run straight toward the goal
to win the prize that God's heavenly call offers
in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 3:14

Please give to me a clear mind, a pure heart and a touch of Your wisdom to do what is good and right this day.

May my life and my work glorify You and be pleasing in Your sight.

God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble.

I know that You, God, reign over the nations and You, God, are seated on Your holy throne.
And from Your throne You speak words of blessing, and it is done.

May You be exalted in my life and throughout the Earth...

The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let the God of my salvation be exalted.

Please protect Your people and help us to be united for You as we live and minister to others in Your Name.

Dear Lord God,

I am Your grateful servant.

I look forward to the day when I am no longer held by the chains of human frailty and earthly concerns.

Precious in the sight of the Lord
is the death of his faithful servants.
Truly I am your servant, Lord;
I serve you just as my mother did;
you have freed me from my chains.
Psalm 116:15-16

Please empower me to be free from the strongholds that threaten my Christian life and testimony.

Please guide and direct me in everything that I do today.

Keep me from harm and evil.
Let me be a blessing to You and to those around me.

Dear Father God,

Your Word tells me that You have given me Your divine power to live my life as You created me to...

His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desire.
​2 Peter 1:3-4

Lord, please help me to escape evil desires and to experience Your precious promises and divine nature.

Please help me to draw strength from You, and that I might be full of Your power.

Please help me to grow in knowing You, developing perseverance, doing Your will and loving others.

And may You receive all of the glory at all times.
In Jesus’ powerful name I pray.

Dear Father God,

This is the day that You have made and I will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalms 118:24

May I see all the good that You accomplish around me all day long.

I do not want to focus on anything negative, but on what is from You...

Finally, brethren, whatever things are true,
whatever things are noble,
whatever things are just,
whatever things are pure,
whatever things are lovely,
whatever things are of good report,
if there is any virtue
and if there is anything praiseworthy
—meditate on these things.
Philippians 4:8

Please help me to meditate on all of Your blessings today, my Lord.

I pray that today, all that I think, do, and say will be positive and pleasing to You.

Let me encourage others today.

Let me glorify You and be in Your will at all times.

Thank You for the power that You give to me through Your Holy Spirit, so that I might live as You desire.

Dear Father God,

I need to learn to take one day at a time and not to worry about tomorrow.

Jesus reminds me...
Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’..For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow...
Matthew 6:31-34

Today, I give all my worries and concerns to You.
You are the all-knowing, all-powerful, ever-present, Almighty God.

Please give me Your peace, grace, and wisdom for today.

Lord, I also pray for the people in this world who are in need, in poverty, in unhappy homes, in abusive situations, in poor health and those facing other trials.

Please embrace them and show them Your love, healing and restoration power.

Let them know that You are God and that You care about them and You will give them Your peace, as Jesus promises...

neither let it be afraid.

Great are You Lord, and You are most worthy of my praise...

Great is the Lord,
and greatly to be praised;
And His greatness is unsearchable.

You are my mighty fortress...
God is our refuge and strength,

Therefore we will not fear...

I clap my hands and sing praises of joy before You, most awesome Lord on high.
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples!
Shout to God with the voice of triumph!
Psalm 47:1

I know that You rule over the nations and You are seated on Your holy throne.
And from that throne You speak words of protection, and it is done.
May You be exalted in my life and above all things...
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
Let Your glory be above all the earth.
Psalm 57:5

Please bless and protect Your people and help us to be united in You as we live and minister to those around us throughout the world.
