Opportunity House & 2Gather2Gether Additionally, a computer lab is available for individuals seeking employment or enrolled in courses to pursue a certification.

Opportunity House is a nonprofit organization that serves the Cabarrus County community by meeting the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and recently released from incarceration. Core programs include:

The Day Shelter program is where Opportunity House guests can receive two hot meals (breakfast & lunch), have access to full b

athrooms with showers, access to a washer and dryer for laundry, and a clothing closet for new clothing. Cabarrus County Community Housing program is a partnership with AYA House and many other organizations and leaders to help bring an end to cyclical in Cabarrus County. This program focuses on moving people out of homelessness into sustainable housing with Peer Support. Cabarrus County Community Reentry program was created to prevent immediate homelessness for individuals recently released from incarceration. This program is county-wide and pools together the strengths of several agencies to help streamlines services and end recidivism. For more information, please visit our website at www.opphouse.net

Hello friends of Opportunity House 🤍
Due to inclement weather and unsafe road conditions, Opportunity House will be closed tomorrow, February 2, 2026.

This decision was not made lightly. Our hearts are with our guests and community members who may be navigating extra challenges during this winter storm. Your safety—and the safety of our staff and volunteers—must come first.

For anyone in need of warmth and shelter during this time, our ministry partners Hellfighters of Concord Mission at The Cross will be opening a warming center tonight at 590 Church St. N., Concord, NC.

Please stay safe, take care of one another, and stay warm. We look forward to reopening as soon as conditions allow.
