Enjoy pictures from our visit to the chapel/convent in Venice where Bakhita lived, became a baptized Christian, and was civilly declared a free person. It was a very powerful place and right next to the Basilica of Maria della Salute, whose loud bells kept interrupting our mass! 😅

The Nigerian Catholic Community will take the 11:00 am parish mass this Sunday. The Nigerian Catholic Community typically gathers for mass on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 4:00 pm at St. Matthias Chapel in our School (no 4:00 pm mass this Sunday in the chapel due to the Culture Sharing Mass).
