Day 60 | Numbers 31:1-33:56
As Israel prepares to enter the Promised Land, today's reading recounts God's judgment on Midian, the numbering of the warriors, and the final stages of Israel's wilderness journey. These chapters remind us that God is both Judge and Savior, perfectly righteous in His judgments and faithful to His promises. Even when difficult passages challenge our understanding, we are called to trust the Lord, who knows the hearts, actions, and future of all people.
We also see God's continued guidance of His people through the wilderness and the allotment of land to the tribes, including the inheritance given east of the Jordan. Throughout these events, God remains the one leading, protecting, and providing for His people. As Christians, we are reminded to trust God's guidance as we journey toward the eternal inheritance secured for us through Jesus Christ.
