The world continually tells us we need more—more success, more security, more possessions.

But Scripture points us toward a different pursuit.

Contentment isn’t the end of ambition. It’s learning what is actually worth pursuing: more of His Word, more of His wisdom, more of His love, and more of His likeness.

There are some things of which we should never say, “Enough.”

Today we’re celebrating Ron Matsen’s wonderful wife of 50 years and a longtime member of the Koinonia House.

Marcie has faithfully served behind the scenes for many years, supporting this ministry with her wisdom, encouragement, prayers, and steadfast love.

Fifty-four years ago, Koinonia House was founded with a simple conviction: God’s Word is worthy of careful study.

From Chuck Missler to Ron Matsen, that conviction has remained unchanged.

For 54 years, we’ve had the privilege of searching the Scriptures alongside believers around the world.

Together, we’ve explored 66 books, written by more than 40 authors, and discovered that the Bible is not merely a collection of ancient writings—but a unified message whose Author stands outside of time itself.

Those born once will die twice.
Those born twice will die once.

It’s a simple statement—but it carries eternal significance.

Chuck Missler often pointed to one of the Bible’s most sobering truths: every person will experience physical death, but Scripture also speaks of a second death (Revelation 20:14–15).

Jesus told Nicodemus:

“Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”
— John 3:3

The difference between dying once or twice isn’t determined by how good we are, but by whether we have been born again through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3–7).

This isn’t just theology.

It’s the most important question any of us will ever answer.

Truth is meant to be searched, not skimmed.
