What a special Sunday in the life of Second Baptist. From the first song to the final amen, there was such a sweet sense of the Lord’s presence as we welcomed Pastor Jeremy for his first Sunday as our Senior Pastor. Every moment of worship felt like another reminder of God’s faithfulness and confirmation of His hand in bringing the Colloms family to Second Baptist.

We were especially grateful to have friends from Ooltewah Baptist Church worship with us and support Pastor Jeremy on this important day. We know their presence came with many emotions, and we do not take lightly the love they have for the pastor and family who have meant so much to their church.

Having recently walked through a season of pastoral transition ourselves, our hearts are with the Ooltewah Baptist family as they begin that journey. We are praying that the same God who faithfully guided us will give them wisdom, unity, peace, and clear direction in the days ahead.

Today was a beautiful reminder that the Lord is at work in His Church. We are grateful for what He has done, excited for what is ahead, and trusting Him every step of the way.
