What an amazing first week back at Hebrew School! 🍎🍯 Our kids dove into Rosh Hashanah through the parable of the lost prince calling out to his father, the king learning how we cry out to Hashem in the same way.

They learned how Rosh Hashanah is the head of the Jewish year, Adam & Chava’s “birthday,” dipped apples in honey, and explored the story behind the shofar and why we specifically use a rams horn!

Then came the fun part: practicing shofar sounds with whistles and sanding + polishing their very own shofars to take home! 🐏✨

Such a hands-on way to get our kids excited for the High Holidays.

Next up: Yom Kippur! 📖
