American Heritage Girls (AHG) is a scout-type character development program for girls ages 5 to 18. AHG is dedicated to the mission of building women of integrity and does so by offering girls exciting opportunities to participate in badge programs, service projects, leadership opportunities, and outdoor experiences, all with an emphasis on Christian values and family involvement. AHG offers girls

forward-focused, Christian programming that is rich in opportunities for girls of all ages and abilities. The AHG Program enables girls to grow in their faith, cultivate a heart for service, and have more fun than they can imagine! Determined by each family’s individual needs, girls can either join an AHG Troop or become AHG Trailblazers. AHG Trailblazer Membership is designed for military, missionary, and other families who are unable to join a Troop due to location, availability, or accessibility. Trailblazers independently participate in the AHG Program, and since all Trailblazer family situations are unique, the AHG Program allows for minor adaptations to fulfill the AHG Mission. In the Trailblazer experience, one girl or a set of sisters is mentored by the adult (often a parent) who meets AHG’s adult membership requirements and agrees to serve as the girl’s Trailblazer Mentor. AHG Troops are owned and operated by Charter Organizations (churches and other non-profits that align with AHG’s Statement of Faith) meaning that churches and other like-minded ministries can customize their Troops to best accomplish their ministry goals, whether those be denominational or otherwise. American Heritage Girls comes alongside Charter Organizations in the mission to raise well-rounded, Godly girls, and invest in their families.

Starting in Genesis 1:28, Rachael and Melissa unpack the idea of dominion—not as domination or destruction, but as thoughtful care, cultivation, and responsibility.

In today’s conversation, co-hosts Rachael Culpepper and Natalie Ambrose pull back the curtain on one of the most influential leadership environments your daughter will ever experience—your home. While leadership is often discussed in boardrooms, classrooms, and public platforms, this episode brings it right to the kitchen table, the car ride, and the everyday rhythms of family life.

It’s ! Every other week, AHG will share one of the many examples of what being an American Heritage Girl looks like. As stated in our Program Emphases, Girl Members who complete the AHG Program will be Christ-following servant leaders who are honoring, relational, anchored in Christ, and competent. They are women who promise to be RESOURCEFUL. They are women of Integrity.
