The Fruit of the Spirit Prayer - LOVE
Heavenly Father, you are the vine, I abide in you today and seek to bear the fruit of your spirit.
I ask that you fill me with your Holy Spirit
to produce the fruit of love in my life.
I confess my sinfulness and I pray
that you would remove selfishness, resentment, anger, apathy, or anything contrary to your love from my heart and fill it with Your unconditional love.
Help me to love all who I encounter today
even those who are difficult with a selfless love. I pray that my faith in you would be evidenced by the love that others experience through me.
Let my words and actions be a reflection of your love and character, Jesus.
I surrender all my desires to your will, and I trust in your strength to make me more like you today.
In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.
