Central Lutheran Church

Central Lutheran Church We are people of God on a journey of hope, travelling together as saints and sinners, loving God and loving people. https://www.centrallutheran.church/

We are a group of people on the way of Jesus. If you are looking for the perfect church with the perfect kind of people then we will probably disappoint you sometime along the way. But if you want to find a place that live in grace, a place that is about walking with each other as you lose and find your way again and again, then come. This is Central, welcome to it.

Happy Labor Day from Central!

If you listened to Pastor Aaron's Labor Day message and are looking for a resource to learn more, we have a book recommendation for you. The Art of Vinemaking: Spiritual Flourishing in a Productivity-Driven Culture, by Bette Dickinson, is an excellent book for guidance and direction on how to follow Jesus' words in John 15:5.

We hope you have a blessed and wonderful day!

What does it really mean to flourish?

Jesus reminds us that a full and fruitful life does not come from striving harder. It comes from staying connected to him.

“Abide in me as I abide in you.” John 15:4

Watch and discover how remaining in Jesus helps us become the people God created us to be. Thank you for joining us for worship.

The Central staff is planning a special volunteer dinner on Thursday, September 17th, from 6 to 7:30pm. Please mark the event on your calendar. We can’t wait to spend time with you! In addition, will you pray and ask God whom to invite to join you? The staff would love it if you invited people to learn more about volunteering and leading at Central. Central's vision is to equip and disciple leaders to help all people find and follow Jesus, and we need you to join us in fulfilling that vision.

Thank you, volunteers! You can register for the dinner at: https://centrallutheran.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3746272

We are making room at Central because behind every new face at Central is a story. A story of someone taking a chance and walking through the church's doors. A family finding a place to belong. Kids discovering Jesus. People finding community and growing in their faith.

As we prepare for some changes to our Sunday rhythm this fall, we want you to hear from the people who are part of the reason "why." This is Amy's story, and we believe there are a whole lot more stories still to come.

At Central, we’re making room for what God is doing next. We hope you will join us! Our new service times begin on Wednesday, September 9th, at 6:30pm. On Sunday, September 13th, the Traditional Service moves to 8am, and the Modern Service moves to 10:45am. Kids ministry for 4K-5th grade will be from 9:30-10:30 on Sunday mornings. From Brittany: “I am thrilled to join the Central Lutheran staff as the new Director of Young Adult Ministry (ages 18-29). I have spent the past 15 years working in education, primarily as a special education teacher, where I discovered just how much I love building relationships, encouraging others, and helping people recognize the gifts and potential God has placed within them. After years of serving in education, I felt God leading me toward a new opportunity to use those same gifts in ministry. I’ve been part of the Central family since 2015, and I’m excited to step into this new role in a place that already feels like home. I look forward to investing in young adults and creating space where they can find genuine community, grow in their faith, discover their purpose, and build relationships rooted in Christ. Outside of church, I love spending time with my husband and our two daughters, being outdoors, traveling, and making memories together. I’m so excited to see what God is going to do through this ministry and through the people He brings together. I truly believe there is something special about creating a place where young adults know they belong, not just at church, but everywhere life takes them as a part of God’s family.”

Please join our staff in welcoming Brittany!
