Generation to Generation: Preserving the Moody Chorale Story
At our 80th anniversary celebration, current singers and alumni joined their voices in thanksgiving to God. This photograph captures a precious part of that evening: generations brought together through a shared ministry of music and faith.
Now we invite you to help preserve the stories behind those voices.
The Moody Chorale Living History Project, led by Dr. Yongmin Kim, is beginning to gather memories and materials from across the Chorale’s history. As we look toward our 90th anniversary in 2036 and our centennial in 2046, we hope to build a lasting archive and lay the foundation for a future centennial commemorative book.
Every generation belongs in this history. We welcome memories of every director, the students who served alongside them, and the people and places touched by the Chorale’s ministry.
Alumni, former directors, families, and friends are invited to share:
• Photographs with names, dates, and descriptions.
• Concert programs, tour itineraries, letters, and other documents.
• Audio and video recordings.
• Personal stories and memories.
• Names and years of student presidents and executive team members.

One photograph. One memory. One chapter of a much larger story.
Help us carry that story forward.
