Sonlight Church first started meeting in the Fall of 1999 in a living room. We quickly outgrew that space and moved to the Girl Scout Center on Cedar Road. From there, Sonlight continued to grow and we launched our first public service in January 2000 at Great Bridge Primary School. As more people started to attend our church, we moved into Great Bridge Middle School in September 2003 and stayed t

here until March 2020. Battlefield Blvd. while we wait for Gods timing to begin construction on our land on Centerville Tpke. We are a church that encourages you to come as you are. Wear your Sunday best, your favorite team's jersey, blue jeans, or flip-flops. We just want to see you on Sunday morning at 10:30 AM!

🚐🙏 They're off!

Today, 12 of our students headed out to Fusion Camp, and we couldn't be more excited to see what God is going to do in their lives this week. Before they left, we gathered together to pray over them, asking God to draw them closer to Him, deepen their faith, build lasting friendships, and move in powerful ways throughout the week. 🙌🔥

Would you join us in praying for our students, leaders, and everyone attending camp? Pray for safe travels, open hearts, life-changing encounters with Jesus, and a week they'll never forget. ❤️

Happy Father's Day! 👔💙

Today we celebrate the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, spiritual fathers, mentors, and father figures who have invested their time, wisdom, encouragement, and love into the lives of others.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the example you set, and the countless ways you help those around you grow stronger, wiser, and closer to God.

We're grateful for the men who lead with faith, serve with humility, and love with consistency, both at home and in our church family. Join us in honoring the incredible fathers and father figures who make such a difference every day. 🙌

🎓✨ This Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating three incredible graduates as they step into a new season of life!

As a church family, we honored them with a gift, introduced them to a dedicated prayer partner who will be praying for them in the year ahead, and spent time praying over them together. 🙏💛

We believe our graduates aren't walking into the future alone. God has great plans for their lives, and they have an entire church family cheering them on every step of the way!

Join us in congratulating the Class of 2026 and praying for God's guidance, wisdom, and blessing as they begin this exciting new chapter. 🎉📚🎓

The prayer that changes everything:
'Lord, I don't understand this, but show me how to honor You in it.' 💪

When we face a trial, there's a powerful difference between 'Why me?' and 'How should I respond?' . God wants to equip you to move forward, not just understand the 'why.' When we shift from demanding explanations to seeking wisdom, we position ourselves to receive what we actually need to keep walking in faith. 🔥
