You don’t want to miss this great evening of fun, fellowship, meeting your Awana teachers, and a FREE cup of Kona Ice for everyone who attends! 🍧

And don’t come alone—invite a friend to join you! This is a great opportunity for another family to learn about Awana and get connected at Great Bridge.

Great Bridge Free Will Baptist Church is celebrating 50 years, and Great Bridge Christian Academy is celebrating 25 years!

We would love for you to join us for our 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend — October 23–25, 2026!

📚 Friday, October 23 | 7:00 PM
Celebrating 25 Years of Great Bridge Christian Academy! We especially want to welcome everyone who has been part of GBCA—especially our alumni! Come help us celebrate and remember the wonderful things God has done.

🍽️ Saturday, October 24 | 3:00 PM
Enjoy a meal and a special time of fellowship and reminiscing with friends and family.

⛪ Sunday, October 25 | 10:30 AM
We will close our celebration with a special Worship Service. Bro. Jim Marcum and Mrs. Vicki will be our special guests that day! Bro. Jim will be preaching!

James serves as the Global Movement Catalyst of Final Command Ministries, where he helps equip and facilitate Disciple Making Movements around the world. With a passion for global missions and reaching people with the Gospel, James has taught at colleges and seminaries in the U.S. and Africa and continues to serve through ministry partnerships across the globe.

Pastor Gibbs has faithfully served in ministry since 1995 and has been the Lead Pastor of Legacy Church in Gastonia, NC, since 2001. He is passionate about expository preaching, global missions, discipleship, and equipping believers to know and live out God's Word.

Pastor Sexton has faithfully served in ministry for over 34 years and has led CrossPointe Church in Suffolk, VA, since planting it in 2008. He also serves as Chairman of the Virginia State Mission Board and Chairman of North America Ministries, providing leadership for missions and church planting efforts.

His passion is to faithfully preach God's Word, strengthen families, develop leaders, and see people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior.

Such a beautiful Mother’s Day at Great Bridge Free Will Baptist Church 💐

We loved celebrating all the amazing moms in our church family with our Flower Cart after service today. Thank you to everyone who helped make it so special!
