🔥 WOMEN OF GOD, STOP CONFUSING GODLINESS WITH SILENCE! 🔥

Somewhere along the way, we started believing that being a godly woman meant being quiet, keeping the peace, never questioning anything, and making sure we didn’t make anyone uncomfortable.

But somebody needs to go back and read their Bible! 🔥

Let me introduce you to JAEL!

In Judges 4, God used a woman named Jael to bring down Sisera, a powerful enemy commander who had oppressed God’s people.

Jael wasn’t standing on a platform. She wasn’t leading an army. She wasn’t looking for recognition.

But when the moment came, she acted with courage and changed the course of a battle!

Jael's story is found in Judges 4 and 5. Judges 5:24 says, Deborah declared her “blessed above women.”

Now, I’m not suggesting we go around driving tent pegs through people’s heads! But I AM saying there’s a powerful lesson here!

God never required women to be powerless in order to be godly!

Look through Scripture!

Deborah led.
Esther spoke up.
Abigail intervened.
Priscilla taught.
Mary obeyed.
Jael took action!

These were not weak women sitting on the sidelines waiting for permission to fulfill God’s purpose.

They were women who recognized that obedience to God sometimes requires COURAGE!

And let me say som**hing else…
Being a peacemaker does not mean being a people pleaser!

Humility is not the same as intimidation.

Submission to God does not mean surrendering your God-given voice to the control of others.

And walking in love does NOT mean turning a blind eye to what is wrong!

Sometimes obedience will make people uncomfortable.
Sometimes standing for truth will cost you relationships.
Sometimes your refusal to remain silent will shake the very room you are standing in.

But hear me, daughters of the King…

You were not called to shrink back in fear when God is calling you to stand in faith!

There is a time to be still, a time to pray, a time to speak, and a time to MOVE!

The key is knowing the difference and being sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

We don’t need more women trying to prove how strong they are.

We need women who know WHOSE they are! Women who are humble before God, courageous in their convictions, grounded in His Word, and unwilling to compromise truth just to keep everybody comfortable.

🔥 BE BOLD. BE WISE. BE OBEDIENT. BUT ABOVE ALL, BE LED BY GOD! 🔥

Because sometimes the very woman others underestimate is the one God chooses to accomplish som**hing extraordinary!

“RESTORATION HAS A FACE” ❤️ We love Friends House Ministries, Inc!

Every man who walks through the doors of Friends House Ministries carries a story. Some are heavy. Some are heartbreaking. But all of them are redeemable. Today, we want to share one of those stories; a story of a man who found hope when he thought hope was gone.

✨ Curtis’s Story: From Lost to Found

“I started smoking w**d when I was 12. I thought it would make me look cool because all my friends were doing it. Before long, I was drinking with them too. Over time, it progressed to pills every day. I didn’t touch hard drugs until around 25 that’s when co***ne and m**h came into the picture. I never used he**in intentionally, but I’m sure it was laced in things I was already doing.

Eventually, I lost everything. I was homeless. I didn’t know where my next meal would come from. I was too ashamed to ask anyone for help.

On July 20, 2024, I was arrested for burglary and theft over $1,000 all over an abandoned place and a washer and dryer. That cost me 18 months in jail. It was the longest time I’d ever been locked up, and it forced me to sit with my thoughts. I made a promise to myself: no matter what life throws at me, I will stay strong.

I got out January 9, 2026. Since then, I’ve held the same job for close to a year the longest I’ve ever kept steady employment. This may sound strange, but I never had a driver’s license in my life. I couldn’t afford it. I couldn’t even get an ID to work. I didn’t have a ride to get anywhere.

But today, I have a driver’s license for the first time ever. All glory to God.

Looking back, He’s been with me the whole time. Today I’m sober, living free from the chains that used to hold me down. I wouldn’t be where I am if Friends House Ministries hadn’t taken me in. I had never met Monty Reeves before, but I called him, we met up, and he took me right in.

Friends House Ministries is the best program I’ve ever been in because they are for us and with us through our journey of recovery. I’ve met a lot of good people here. I consider them all my family.”
