At Exodus Chattanooga, we believe that every act of kindness is a reflection of God’s heart for His people. Sometimes a simple “yes” to serving can become an answer to someone else’s prayer.

Today, we celebrate the incredible blessing of receiving a $1,000 Neighborhood Grant from The Starbucks Foundation, made possible through the nomination of one of their amazing employees, Renee, who saw the heart and mission of Exodus Chattanooga.

Our ministry exists to bring hope, healing, and restoration through Jesus Christ by walking alongside those recovering from addiction, supporting widows, veterans, and individuals rebuilding their lives after hardship. Every dollar entrusted to Exodus becomes an opportunity to remind someone they are not forgotten and that God still has a purpose for their life.

This grant is more than financial support, it is an investment in transformed lives, restored families, and the love of Christ reaching our community in tangible ways.

We are deeply grateful to Renee Broadway Crowe for believing in our mission and to The Starbucks Foundation for empowering local organizations to make a lasting difference. Together, we are proving that compassion can change lives and that light shines brightest when a community comes together to serve.

THANK YOU for the incredible love, generosity, and compassion you have shown during this difficult time. ❤️

Because of your faithful giving and the extraordinary kindness of an anonymous donor who covered the remaining funeral expenses, every dollar donated by our family, friend’s and community was given directly to Gary’s widow (Marty) to help meet her needs in the days ahead.

Your prayers, encouragement, and financial support have been a beautiful reflection of the hands and feet of Jesus. You have reminded this family that they are not walking this journey alone. 🙏
