Big things are happening for our Charlottesville youth! 🎉
The City of Charlottesville’s Youth Opportunity division is launching a series of initiatives designed to empower, engage, and inspire young people across our community, from elementary school students to teens.
📚 We Lit(literature) Book Club
Elementary students can build literacy skills, confidence, and a love of reading through guided discussions and interactive activities in a fun, supportive space.
🎉 Community Social Events for Pre-Teens & Teens
Safe, welcoming events that include themed socials, team-building activities, and skill-building workshops designed to strengthen peer connections and personal growth.
🗣️ Youth Council (Rebuilding Now!)
A chance for kids to have a direct voice in shaping programs that impact their lives while gaining leadership and civic engagement experience.
💼 Teen Expo – March 20 | 12–2:30 PM
📍 Carver Recreation Center, 233 4th St NW
Teens can connect with local businesses and organizations offering summer jobs, internships, volunteer roles, mentorship programs, and more.
