Redemption Youth Culture - RYC We are the student ministry of Redemption Church Charlottesville, in Charlottesville, VA.

Easter of 2018, we hosted a glowstick egg hunt for our neighborhood. This was when we began to expand on the events that served our community.

That year, our youth walked the neighborhood to hand out cookies and invite people to church; we provided an amazing Halloween stop with S'mores, hot cocoa, and candy; we hosted our third Snow Ball for youth; and our neighborhood Christmas event drew about 70 guests who did not already attend our church.

Join us Sunday, March 28 at 10 a.m. (in-person and online) to celebrate 5 years of serving our community.

Hey RYC, for those of you who missed Wednesday night, here’s a REWIND of the points!

Your words matter because they are powerful! You’re the first person to hear what you have to say so make them count this year!

They REVEAL what’s deep in our hearts! So if you’re ever confused or wondering how you’re doing spiritually, pay attention to the words you’re speaking daily!
Our words can CREATE. We were created by a creative God in His image. If He can create with His words, we do too! (Nerd fact: Our words actually create pathways for our minds to follow!) *starts singing “Free yo miiiind and the rest will follow...”
Lastly, our words are DIRECTIONAL. What we say over ourselves can ultimately become our reality. So start speaking LIFE!

Challenge: Everyday say at least 5 positive things:
1. About yourself
2. Your family
3. Your future
4. Your community
5. This world!
