The history of modern missions began with William Carey to India and soon, names such as Amy Carmichael, Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor, Jim Elliot and many more, fill the chronicles of church history. Today, those seeds are bearing fruit. A mighty army of native missionaries is taking the Gospel to their own people in their own languages. In fact, more than 80% of the evangelism that is carried o

n in the world is done through the efforts of the native missionary. OBI exists to encourage these native missionaries in the task.
