When Jesus speaks of the ekklesia, He’s describing a called-out people with a purpose.

We’re not just called to gather. We’re called to be the Church, to live out our faith, serve our communities, and reflect the heart of God beyond the walls of a building.

What does it mean to be hidden in Christ?

This past Sunday, Pastor KJ illustrated this truth and reminded us of Paul’s words in Ephesians about being sealed by the Holy Spirit. When we are in Christ, we are marked as His and secure in Him.

Your humanity doesn’t intimidate God ‼️

Pastor Austin Gerard Smith reminded us that scripture is full of people who failed, fell short, and made mistakes, yet God still worked through their lives. Not because their actions didn’t matter, but because their failures weren’t beyond the reach of His grace.

God specializes in redeeming broken situations and working through imperfect people for His glory.

So stop counting yourself out because of what you’ve done or where you’ve been. Your failures don’t have to be the end of your story.

Grace is a gift. You don’t earn it. You don’t work for it. You receive it ❤️‍🩹

This week, Pastor Austin reminded us that sometimes we struggle to receive what we could never earn, even when it’s freely given. And that includes the grace of God.

Salvation isn’t found in our efforts or our own sufficiency. It’s found in Jesus Christ, by grace through faith.

Maybe the reminder for this season is simple: stop pretending you don’t need help. Receive the gift. Say thank you.

God doesn’t have to erase your worst moments to redeem your story.

Moses had flaws, failures, and moments of anger. Yet God still worked through his life.

Your past doesn’t have to be erased for God to use you. What He redeems can become part of your testimony.

What happens when we stop treating the Bible like something we should read and start engaging with it consistently? 👀4️⃣

Research discussed by Pastor KJ Scriven highlighted a significant difference when people engaged with Scripture four or more times a week.

The point isn’t to chase a number or turn Bible reading into a checklist.

It’s about what happens when God’s Word becomes a regular part of our lives.

There are things that are real even when we cannot fully explain them.

So don’t let the limits of your understanding become the limits of your faith.
