Doxa Deo Waxhaw Doxa Deo means the Glory of God! Our calling as a Church comes from Habakkuk 2:14. WHO ARE WE? Doxa Deo means the Glory of God.

Our calling as a Church comes from Habakkuk 2:14 which reads: “The glory of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.” That is why you will often see a wave as part of our imagery. We function as one church in a city with various campuses and ministries and our desire is to see God’s transforming presence impact every city where we have influence around the world. Our mission is d

efined by the mission of Jesus Christ to bring Faith to those who are spiritually lost, to bring Love to those who are in social pain and to bring Hope that will restore that which is systemically broken in society. We want to love and serve our city with the love and values of Jesus. We are a discipleship movement that values every generation, young and old and we seek to empower them with the good news of Jesus and the knowledge that they were born to be City Changers.

Today we pause to remember.

Memorial Day is a day set apart to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to this country. As a church, we hold deep gratitude for that sacrifice and we hold it alongside the One who knows what it means to lay down a life for others.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends." - John 15:13

To every family who carries a name that will never come home -we see you. We honor them with you.
