There are moments in Scripture where a woman’s obedience shifts the entire atmosphere — and John 12 reminds us that access to Jesus often came through a woman’s sacrifice.

She recognized the moment.
She released what was precious.
She endured the criticism.
And Jesus called it worship.

Yesterday’s sermon closed our series with this truth: when we give God our best, even when others don’t understand it, heaven calls it holy. May we be a church that honors the women who open doors, discern seasons, and make room for God’s glory to move.

The oldest and the youngest member of Bethel — two generations, one faith.

Mother “28” (because she refuses to claim her real age) has been faithful to God and to this church for decades. She has prayed, served, and believed long enough to see the church she grew up in becoming the church God is calling Bethel to be.

And little Sekani… active, curious, and taking in the world from the safest place — the arms of someone who has walked with God a long time.

This is what legacy looks like.
This is what continuity looks like.
This is Bethel.

Her faith built the foundation.
His future will stand on it.

Women have always been God’s vessels of courage, discernment, and holy access.

In today’s message, we were reminded that before miracles broke out, before crowds shouted Hosanna, before resurrection power shook the earth, there was a woman who prayed, pushed, and refused to be silent.

From Mary’s “yes” to the women who prayed us into the room, we honor the voices God uses to open doors heaven has already prepared. Their faith still makes a way for generations to walk in His glory.
