The Holy Spirit is chiseling you away.

Notice the gap between when you sin and when you repent. When you yell. When you're angry. When you do what you shouldn't.

That gap? It's shrinking.

What started as weeks or days shrinks to hours, then minutes. The goal? So small that when a thought crosses your mind, you respond before it becomes words or action.

That's the Holy Spirit leading your life.

The smaller the gap, the more you're being transformed.

Obedience doesn't earn God's love. It's the response to it.

You don't obey to become loved. You obey because you're already loved.

Think of it this way: A merit says "I earned it." A condition says "I do this to experience it."

God's love is a gift. But to experience it? You have to respond. You have to obey. You have to follow.

Love Him back by the way you live.
