Many assume the Mahdi must be “Muhammad son of Abdullah.”
But the narrations tell us something deeper:

The Prophet ﷺ is called Muhammad on earth and Ahmed in the heavens (Qur’an 61:6).

He said the Mahdi’s name will be like his name, and his father’s name like his father’s name.

This points to Ahmed son of Ismail, not Muhammad son of Abdullah.

So—will you recognize him when the proofs are in front of you? Or will you turn away?
