The physical property of 200 Bloomsbury Avenue, in Catonsville, Maryland is one of the original 108 temples founded by His Divine Grace and one of the now less than 108 Original ISKCON temple properties still carrying on the missionary work of Srila Prabhupada. This point is noteworthy simply because not many of the original ISKCON properties are still in use by ISKCON, whatever the reason behind

the change of venue. Srila Prabhupada physically came only one time to ISKCON Baltimore and instantly created a holy place of pilgrimage for all Vaishnava devotees of Lord Sri Krishna on July 7th, 1976 at the former old age home turned into a temple.

ISKCON Baltimore warmly invites you, your family, and friends to join us for a grand evening of devotion, celebration, culture, and spiritual joy. Experience the transcendental atmosphere of Janmāį¹£į¹­amÄ« with non-stop kÄ«rtan, ārati, Mahā-Abhiį¹£eka, cultural performances, prasādam, Dahi Handi, Jhulan Seva, childrenā€™s activities, and much more.

Throughout the celebration, devotees can also participate in hourly ārati and ongoing Jhulan Seva. Families can enjoy the Kids Zone with fun and games, explore the Festival Marketplace, visit the Books & Meditation area, and enjoy delicious selections from our Snacks Booth, including momos, pizza, dosa, pani puri, and more.

A special highlight of Janmāį¹£į¹­amÄ« is the Mahā-Abhiį¹£eka, the ceremonial bathing of Lord ŚrÄ« Kį¹›į¹£į¹‡a. Everyone is invited to witness this beautiful devotional offering. Kalash sponsors will have the special opportunity to personally participate in bathing the Lord and receive the spiritual blessings of this sacred seva.
