It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Pastor Jeff Odom. He is with Jesus and free from the toll that dementia takes on a person’s mind and body. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Jeff was retired from pastoral ministry but had remained vibrant as the Visitation Pastor for Catonsville United Methodist Church. Along with his beloved wife Marge, Jeff led many mission trips to serve communities both locally and internationally in Costa Rica and Guatemala. We will forever be thankful to this servant of God for the number of souls he impacted and brought to our Lord.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Catonsville United Methodist Church at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 18. A reception will follow in the Social Hall. The service will be live-streamed on the CUMC YouTube channel.

Until we meet again in Heaven, well done good and faithful servant.

Our dear friend Chip Day passed away two days ago on June 7, 2022. We are sad at our loss, but happy that Chip is whole again in the arms of our Lord. Chip was an irreplaceable presence over the years in our mission experience, both in Costa Rica’s VIM team and in Baltimore County’s Christian Work Camp. Chip, we look forward to hearing your stories again someday. We will miss you.

We are saddened to share with our Costa Rica family that Sue Flaherty's youngest son Antonio, age 26, passed away on Tuesday, March 2nd. Sue was a volunteer to Costa Rica many times over the years and her older son James also volunteered a few times. May God wrap His loving arms around Sue, Mark, James and Antonio's fiancée Rachel, and fill them with His peace.
