On May 10th, our parish was blessed to celebrate the First Holy Communion class as they received the Body of Christ for the first time. As the celebration coincided with Mother's Day, the children also took a moment to honor their mothers. It was a beautiful reminder of the important role mothers play in nurturing faith within their children. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Moxley John Schwalm, Jane Charlotte Connaghan, Olivia May Menapace, and Ethan Charles Cuff as they took this important step in their faith journey. May God bless our First Communicants today and always.

During the weekend masses on May 2nd and 3rd, our parish celebrated the beautiful tradition of Crowning of the Blessed Mother. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this special celebration so meaningful. The gorgeous flowers offered in her honor served as a beautiful symbol of our love, gratitude, and reverence for the Blessed Mother.

Our Soup & Scripture series continues!

On March 9, Sister Joanne Marie shared a powerful reflection on “Letting Go,” inviting us to trust more deeply in God’s plan and release what weighs on our hearts.

Then on March 16, our own hometown priest, Father James Lease, led a thoughtful discussion on “That They May Be One: The Unity of Christians,” reminding us of the importance of faith, connection, and unity in Christ.

We are grateful for the time spent together in prayer, reflection, and community.

Our parish was blessed to collect donations in honor of the Sisters of Sts. Cyril and Methodius’ feast day on February 14th. Thanks to the generosity of our parish family, our Vocations Committee was able to treat the sisters to beautiful baskets filled with goodies including chocolates and personalized cookies, courtesy of Ponduce Farms, along with heartfelt handmade cards created by our Religious Education students. 🍫🍪💌

Thank you to everyone who donated and helped make this day extra special for the sisters. Your kindness, creativity, and support truly mean so much!
